What i like about zakir khan is his delivery of jokes. I also think there is some kind of innocence in him. I have watched this whole set. Its in amazon prime. U guys should watch the whole set. Its amazing. U will get it what im trying to say after u have watched it.

Yes the education culture is changing here but what he said is mostly true for Indian schools.
In India, parents go to school and ask teachers to punish their kids. Physical punishment is common ..like really common.

My first day in an American high school, I raised my hand to answer a question, and when the teacher called on me, I stood up to answer it - the entire class started laughing. Its just a different environment. Teachers are respected, but not in the overt manner than most Indians are used to.
555banter I am so sorry! When I teach older grades, I have the students stand up to answer as well. But it is definitely teacher preference and it’s not common.
@@Jodi_BoringReviews Nothing to be sorry about, didn't bother me then either. Respect for teachers and 'elders' is wired into Indian kids' heads early and often :)

My father told my chemistry teacher to feel like that I am his kid (just make sure you don't break a bone otherwise do whatever you like) if I am not doing well in studies. Even today I have my chemistry teacher as my mentor and I share a relationship with him like a father figure. I'll probably tell him any problem of my life before my father.

@@BoringReviews I didn't wanted to go and meet him when I didn't score the marks he expected out me in the boards.
The work he had put in me he was expecting above 95 but I could only get 87. That's how embarrass I was, he called consoled me and took me to the party he was throwing for that batch of kids.

Completing maths copy was the biggest struggle of my childhood.
What does that mean? Copying an entire book of math problems?
@@BoringReviews keeping up with the teacher and doing all the homework...I think 95 percent of the students in my class has the struggle to do that...I still remember when it was time for the teacher to check the copy of every student... We used to quickly complete our notebooks while the teacher was checking it one by one.
@@BoringReviews Copy here refers to notebooks, where you notes or in other words Copy the things the teacher wrote on the blackboard. That's why notebooks are loosely called copy.
