You are doing a terrific job on a beautiful song. It’s great seeing a young woman like you showing such an interest in playing this beautiful organ. To tell the truth, I would love to play this beautiful organ too.
Beautiful …I just sang this a Friends funeral …he was a Marist Priest ….it was an honor to be there and sing this for him ….I hadn’t sung it in 30 years or so but I remembered all the Latin
M&O organs are truly the best of the best. I had the chance to play OPUS 1 (the Trinity Church) organ at their showroom some years ago, and was blown away - indistinguishable from a pipe organ.
Grazie per la tua eccellente professionalità che metti a disposizione di tutti. Sei davvero bravissima (Widor è il massimo). Mi sono appena iscritto al tuo canale e ti ascolterò sempre con grande gioia. ❤ Giuseppe (from Italy)
Sarah that was gorgeously played - excellent choice of registration, and your playing style in terms of your physicality is fantastic; very efficient, still and deliberate. Subscribed! May God continue to bless you in your music ministry.
I'm a piano player, and I always liked this piece ever since I studied it as a kid. I would love to play it on a pipe organ in a big cathedral, but I could never master it on an organ because it's too much multitasking for me to play the foot pedal bass along with the hand parts. I admire anyone who can do it.
I keep seeing this video on my playlist, so I'm back. Since I play piano, I am finding it fascinating to watch how you do the foot pedals. I'm sure that it becomes second-nature with practice, but I find it interesting how you have to reach a note with one foot, then change to the other foot keeping the same note held down so you can reach the next one. It's different going from note to note with two feet as opposed to five fingers.
@@SweetSarahnadeMusic I don’t see myself changing fingers on a note without releasing it. But I still admire that you can do the bass and both hands at the same time.
Great performance, Sarah! Love the registrations! Who's arrangement is this? I play this piece for weddings all the time, but I'm not a big fan of the arrangement I currently use, so I've been searching for new ones. Plus, mine doesn't have a pedal line.
Sarah used the arrangement in "The Oxford Book of Wedding Music with Pedals." It says the arranger of this piece was "P.K." All of the arrangements in the book are quite lovely. You can do a quick Google search to find many options for buying it online.
I agree, it would be nice to have actual pipes instead of speakers; it's just not the same! However, I must share with you something that happened many years ago according to an online document about the details of the Church: "the former director of music for the San Diego music department (now the director of music for Mexico City) flew up to Ave Maria, went inside the Oratory, and played one note on our new pipe organ; the sound was so perfect that he was able to confirm his theory and return home." For an organ with speakers, its sound is pretty darn good! 😎
Thank you! I used an 8' Cornet V alternate stop from the Solo and coupled it to the Swell because my arm gets tired when it's up on the higher keyboard for so long! 😂
Modest, intelligent, high value, disciplined woman extolling the message of God and doing HER part in Advancing Western Civilization! :)
Beautiful performance, and it is so nice that a young lady like yourself is playing this wonderful music! Thank you for keeping the music alive! ❤🎼💚
So wonderful! Such gentle and magnificent talent. Such a joy to listen to your music. Thank you so very much!
Great! 😊
This piece is ever ancient and modern.... I enjoyed your playing ❤
Beautiful rendition. Sarah has a very special talent. When I say that can sight read music, I'm not in the same league.
A musical narrative in the superlative! Glory to God in the highest!🙏
Bellissima esecuzione di questa Cantata 147 di J.S. Bach. Complimenti. S.D.G.
“Wow, I'm surprised at how popular this video is!”
I’m not, it’s just beautiful and so well played!
Thank you Sara

I agree; the sound quality for an electric organ is very good!!

Wonderful masterpiece
La registration est très bien choisie, bravo !
I congratulate you as a master organ builder... JCPK / Portugal
Nicely done! Not an easy feat with the foot pedals for sure. Thank you for sharing your talents
Beautiful rendition of this Bach masterpiece .l believe composed in 1716 .....
If you how incredible the organ is at Valparaiso Univeristy's chapel, just imagine how this would sound on that
Beautiful.
Brilliant.
it's a great song, to say the least, and your playing was excellent. Beautiful.
Wow, I can't play anything but that sounded pretty amazing to me!! Well done miss, please keep playing, I think it will serve you well 🙏🙏
Beautifully done!

haha, yes I do suppose I've gotten used to it, but I also think substitution with your feet is very similar to substitution with fingers! :D

@@jeopardy60611 She's a pro. :)
@@redneckjones4182 it’s just like how you get to Carnegie Hall. Practice! As for me, I could never play with more than my two hands.
Can you do Pachelbel's Canon in D? That is another organ piece I like and would love to perform live if I could figure it all out.
I'll keep it in mind to record sometime! :)
@@SweetSarahnadeMusic Thanks. Please do!
It's better sound from organ than piano 😍 First time know this song from Richard Clayderman's Album "Classic Piana Gala"
I was a music teacher and that is an electric organ
Yes, it is (and a very good-sounding one, I must say)! 😄 Full info on the organ is in the description above.

Sweet Sheherezade
An organ has pipes . No speakers. This is a digital instrument. Without soul

Hi
Hello 😆
I really loved the arrangement Sarah, especially the way you played it. Whose arrangement is it?
Thank you! My book just says it was arranged by P.K. I don't know who that is... 😅
@@SweetSarahnadeMusic There used to be a flavour of chewing gum called PK gum. Maybe the arranger found inspiration while chewing.
LOL
She played that very well wish all orangèst play that well sign Michael smith
Great job! It sounds like the Virgil Fox version. What voice were you using on the Swell? Is it an 8’ Cornopean?
Thank you! I used an 8' Cornet V alternate stop from the Solo and coupled it to the Swell because my arm gets tired when it's up on the higher keyboard for so long! 😂
Nice. What's the organ's name?. And ur fingers are very beautiful
Thanks, the organ is a Marshall & Ogletree. All the details are in the description.
