Lifestyles of the rich and the famous
    They're always complainin'

If money is such a problem
    Well they got mansions
    Think we should rob them

MapleRhubarb but now celebrities feel they are smart enough to tell me how i to live my life and what is moral. They want to be teachers and preachers. Celebrities in the past were not as pretentious. They knew NOT to take sides because not all fans shared the same views or beliefs . Now they pressure artists to speak up for liberal causes or they will ostracize you and put a Scarlett letter around your neck . Taylor Swift was bullied to speak up but only if she said what they wanted to hear like save the gays or trans but if she said save babies from abortion than they will attack her for going against the liberal dogma. They are like a cult just like the Jim Jones cult of the 1970s that all committed suicide by drinking punch with poison There not rational

I've been listening for years. I think, what got me, was the humour in the videos. 'Sleeping in a tense police interrogation'. Elderly throwing thick-shakes at cars, then doing then running off. lol My eye is always drawn to Billy in the videos. IDKW. I'm straight, but he's got his own energy that stands out. Laugh on the 'Boys & Girls' video with the senior gentlemen telling him how to play video games. Who ever comes up with these ideas is brilliant. I've noticed Good Charlotte are getting a lot or radio play in my area at the moment too,

Wish I’d got the chance to talk to him one more time. I will forever remember him as the cute, bubbly, sparkly eyed 11/12 year old boy jumping around singing and dancing with me to this whole album. He taught himself how to play a lot of these songs on guitar too. So many memories. Rest in Peace Kyle McWeeney Kuhlman 💗 never forgotten 💗

I think these lyrics are very straight forward, yet so many people here call them hypocrites because they dated celebrities. This song is not against the rich and the famous, it's against the complaining some of them do while they have everything (and more) they could desire. Just because you don't like the attitude of some BMW drivers, doesn't make you a hypocrite if you buy such car yourself. So Good Charlotte are not hypocrites for dating celebrities, it's you people who are fools to thinks so just because you don't get the point of the song.

You hit the nail on the head my friend. This isn’t an anti-rich song per se, it’s a song against the entitled and out of touch attitudes many famous people embrace. One can be wealthy without embracing these attributes and vice versa.

Me too. I've come to this video many times over the last month after hearing of executives who make millions a year trying to be pragmatic saying they're taking a 20% or 50% pay cuts while their employees are furloughed. The pay cut is insignificant to these rich executives making millions a year with corporate paid houses and corporate paid cars and a millions to billions in stocks. In wealth-ration it's like me dropping a $5 bill on a walk.. "BFD." They still have their 3 summer homes and when they die they will leave trust babies around who still won't have to worry about money for their whole lives. Don't even get me started about the corporate execs who eff up big time, get fired, and then still have their multi-million dollar contracts paid off.
Oh Robin Hood, oh Robin Hood. Where for art though Robin Hood?

I can't bare to read these comments about this song. That Good Charlotte wrote this and then now they are rich and famous 'the irony'. The truth is they wrote this before they were 'rich and famous', also it's not about saying that the rich and famous are bad people it's how some celebrities still moan when they have a 'perfect' lifestyle. So Good Charlotte were trying to say 'if you don't like your life, we would have it'. Hope that makes everybody stop arguing on this video:)

+Paprofka there's literally a reason this is called POP-punk. The names you bring up are from 15 years later so it's obvious by your age you can't even put this argument into perspective.
Only like 5% of the population even used napster at this time. You couldn't just access a billion songs in 01. This was on MTV as much a Britney Spears and Jessica Simpson. And the original comment, golden age of alternative rock. I don't even know how to respond to that. That's silly talk.
