Thank you so much for sharing your struggle. The more we share what we are going through, the more the stigma evaporates
I feel like this could’ve been more raw. Sing about what you’re really feeling. Don’t put a catchy beat it to it. I’m sure celebrities feel a lot and so does everyone with anxiety + other mental health issues. I like it. But I just feel like it should be less catchy
I feel like this is doesn't reflect real depression as much as rypical anxiety. Songs like "Breaking Down" by Florence+TheMachine are a more honest approach to the topic

Why do you feel the need to put down other artists? Why can't that music AND this music be good? If you don't like that kind of music, then don't listen to it! Every song doesn't have to be deep. Every book isn't a deep philosophical hot-take on the state of humanity, that doesn't mean that books about the state of humanity are bad, but that doesn't mean that books about other things are bad either. Music is supposed to represent real life and in real life, people have sex(I know shocking), and people party (what is the world coming to?), and people fall in love(NOOOO, Think of the children!). If you don't drink, or have sex, or party, or fall in love, that's fine, but that doesn't make you better(or worse) than anyone else. If you believe that those things are "wrong" then don't partake in them, but other people might choose to act differently, and if they want to make a song about their experience then they're allowed to. No one is forcing you to listen to those songs. If you do not like a certain type of music then don't listen to it, simple as that! Recognize that other people might like it(because, shocker, people are gonna have differing opinions) and just because you don't like it doesn't mean that you get to put down the people who listen to those songs, or the song's creators. Just because you like these songs it doesn't mean that those songs are bad, because (brace yourself this one is gonna be another really hot-take) music is art, and art is subjective. I hate how people think that to state that they think this music is good, they have to say that other music is bad. Guess what? those songs (the ones about sex, partying, and love) are just as good as these songs because all music is equally good, you might not like all music but that doesn't mean that any one type of music is better or worse than the other. So stop tearing other people down to hold up your faves, when I don't like a certain type of music, I just don't listen to it (I know, it takes so much willpower) and I don't feel the need to tear it down. Just learn to be a decent human being, and respect everyone regardless of what choices they make in life.

This song honestly helped me so much right now. Everyone around me is finding love and finding happiness and I’ve just felt left out of that. I’ve been feeling alone and scared and anxious because so many people are making me feel that I’m not good enough and that I’m not ever ready for love. These voices in my head keep telling me I’m not going to escape from these feelings but my best Friend has always been here for me and staying with me no matter what those voices tell me. I know some day things will be okay and that I’ll find love and happiness...thank you Ashley for showing this to me💖
