I think it's good you're not bashing a different brand. I never bought the coal till tonight thank you for the heads up on the product. If it is Royal Oak I know I don't like their coal. It runs hot and I always had to chase the dragon for the proper heat.
Thanks! I never want to bash a brand but I do want to showcase why I burn the best, and that is Jealous Devil. I have used a lot of charcoal and I cook at a lot of events across the country. Some of those events I have no choice but to use what charcoal that is provided or is the sponsor. I’m always disappointed when I have to use anything other than JD.
I bet that other brand is Royal. The snap crackle pops is what I experienced using it on my last cook. Well I got the last bag of jealous Devil charcoal from my local Academy Sporting goods store. Now I’m happy I gambled on it.
@@blazingstarbbq quick question. Did the fact that tell us devil came in a plastic lined bag instead of paper cause the lump charcoal to get moist? I saw another review where they stated that the bag not being paper lined could be a problem.
@@TheReal_DeanD they don’t have the plastic bags anymore but that wasn’t an issue. I have been using their charcoal for 4 years now and I have tried every packaging they have had.
Why engage in such a conscientious effort to avoid mentioning the name of "the other guys" charcoal, especially when no opportunity is lost to mention 'Jealous Devil' and 'Cotton Gin'? The omission causes one to wonder about the overall validity of the comparison.
I’m not here to bash another company but I am here to showcase both Jealous Devil and Cotton Gin Smokers. Results speak for themselves, even in the first 30 minutes. You are more than welcome to test JD against any charcoal brand that you want to if you would like. I grabbed a bag of the most popular lump charcoal brand on the market to make it a real test. You can figure out which one it is on your own. If you would like you can bring your favorite bag of charcoal over to my house and we can run the test together.😁

I won’t tell😁 but I’m glad you are using Jealous Devil now. You will not regret it.

JD did some work! And by the sound of your voice, who can deny this wasn't a true timed test 🤜🔥🤛 Burn the Best
😂 It's called ethics bro
Let me guess, the other lump is probably considered the brand of Royal-Ty ;)
