  • A video of Jay Briscoe helping his daughter with a cheerleading routine.
What a special person he was... the first time I saw this video it made me tear up. I didn't know Jay personally, but that's just the connection he had with everyone that had any experience either watching him or working with him.
He was an amazing wrestler, but an even better husband, father, brother, son, and friend.

Gotta say, the cheerleading bow in his dreads was a sweet and funny touch. He was never a bigger badass than when he was practicing cheers with his daughter with a bow in his hair.

You bring up a valid point about not just Jay but all of the people in our lives. Try to appreciate people and let them know how much they are loved while they are still here, cause you never know when they might be gone.

He's never come across more manly or tough in my eyes. REAL men put in effort and raise their kids. Any loser can cosplay and look "tough". However THIS video displays a level of Manhood no poser can ever dream to achieve.

Happy to report as of this writing that both of Jay’s daughters have returned home. Still a ways to go with their individual recoveries, but are on the right track.

Of course it has to be a dedicated worker, husband, and father that has to die at a ridiculously young age. Life isn't fair and neither is death. RIP.
