I have them on my tractor and I really like them. They won't vibrate off, but I learned the hard way you might knock one off if you are operating in trees or tall weeds. After losing one, I now have mine tied to the loader with steel fishing leaders. That way, if they get knocked off, the leaders will catch them and I can simply stick them back on.

I’ve had them on my Kubota for several months. I absolutely love them and use them all the time when mowing or using the box blade. I think their real value is in safety when you’re backing up. Children or pets can come up behind you unexpectedly. Great addition to any tractor.

Got my set for my T0-30. Tried them on the fenders at my hip. Great visibility, but they seem to slip on the painted fender surface. Haven't tried on the trails yet. Wonder if combination of smooth painted surface coupled with thin fender metal, vs the heavy steel on your loader mount frame is the issue? I plan to ask EMP for suggestions. Thanks.

I have definitely considered getting mirrors for my tractor because I dont have eyes in the back of my head and I pull a trailer quite a bit with my tractor. I also have to drive on the county road about 200 feet from one part of our property to the other. It seems like I am always having cars sneak up on me before I can pull into the other drive on the opposite side of the road. These would be an awesome addition to increase my situational awareness.

I added golf cart mirrors held on by the same kind of powerful magnets to my B2601. A great addition! I'm so used to using rear mirrors on my car that I felt kind of blind without them. Vibration has not been a factor. ONE TIP: mine were too easily knocked out of position, and I learned there is a nut on the bottom of the arm that can and should be tightened to increase tension. Now, no unwanted movement but they are still adjustable.

I bought golf cart mirrors from Amazon for $13 (L/R) and used JB Weld ($5) to attach the bases to the loader arms. The mirrors are adjustable, fold back if they hit something and look similar. The mirrors can be removed but not the plastic bases.
I would still consider these for my next tractor though.

Hi Martin, I do not have mirrors on my tractor. Yes I want mirrors on my tractor. Those look like just what I need. I love that they are held on by magnets, I worried about getting them ripped off and destroyed in the woods. I had cervical fusion a few years ago and lost some of the movement in my neck and it makes it a bit difficult to turn around enough to see behind me. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.

How's she goin'? Wow Martin, you must have been a good boy to get a gift like that!!! I have a cab on my tractor with an inside mirror. I thought of adding outside mirrors but thought that they may get hit with trees or what not. But one good thing about these mirrors is that if you hit something they would probably just break free and not be harmed. A big plus for mirrors in my book. These are nice and the price was decent too. Thanks for sharing and Happy New Year!!!

Your mirrors seem to give you a very nice rearward view. I got them for my New Holland Boomer 45. The magnets grab the steel loader support arms very well and the grip feels secure. The mirrors themselves are well made, and easily adjusted. Unfortunately my rearward view is blocked by my tall R4 rear tires. Can you measure the vertical distance from your eye to the center of your mirror. I think mine are mounted too low, wrt my eye height, to be effective, but that's where the top of my front end loader brackets end. You seem to sit "lower" wrt your mirrors. I may need to add an extension to the loader mount bracket to get the mirrors mounted higher, and maybe a little wider, to be able to see over and around the rear tires.
Love your videos. Everything you cover is super clear and precise. Your keen problem solving skills are evident.

    • @DIYMyWay

You can buy the mirrors and magnets many places including eBay and Amazon for about $20 -$25 total. Then it’s just rivets to put them together.
But also keep in mind that if you have your rear tires in anything but their innermost position the mirrors will not help you see around them. You just get a good view of your tire tread…. At least that was my experience with my Kubota L4060.

I like the fact that these are a package set-up vs. getting the mirrors and suitable magnets separately. Very curious as to how they hold up for you driving around your property as well as if the vibration level impacts your visibility. Just so you all know. I bought these too. Took a couple of weeks to arrive. The company doesn't communicate when they've shipped. They're made of PLASTIC not "Extreme Metal" as their name suggests. One of the magnets cracked while installing, and when I reached out to the company, the ladies smug response was "read the website to not tighten" you'd think that would be in the instruction manual, but no manual.....and they won't even send me another magnet as she said "it will still work". It's no wonder Americans will buy from other countries because at least they try. I'd like to support American Companies, but as you see, this is service you get.....

That looks like a great solution. My question would be, will the adjustment point hold up to the vibration over time and in the position they are set in? I guess you (and hopefully, us) will find out. Thank you and Happy New Year to you and yours!

Let me know how you like them and how often you use them. Never thought about mirrors on my tractor, until now.

Hi Howard! I'm going to leave them on and see if they stay in place as I travel over the hostile terrain of my property. I expect I'd use them the most when I have to do work on the shoulder of the road along my property. Also to keep and eye on implements, especially when they are offset. I'll do a follow-up on them after some usage. Thanks for watching!

Would love to have mirrors on my tractor. Problem is that I have my loader off as much or more than I have it on. I would have to have mirrors adaptable to both. I never have seen any like that on the market.

Hi Brad! You might consider leaving the loader on but taking the bucket off. You'll still have good maneuverability and you have good counter weight on the front to offset heavy implements on the 3 point. If you have 4WD, the loader frame will give your front wheels better traction. AND you can have your mirrors. Thanks for watching!

I have thought of that but I like to Bush hog without it. Less bulk, better turning radius, better visibility and can get into tighter spaces.

Don't have my tractor yet (waiting for 6 months now). Cannot imagine pulling a cutter or rake near trees or fences and not having a mirror. Maybe some people like pretending they are owls.

I sell them a lot cheaper on eBay than extreme metal products and have been for years. Now everyone is selling them.

My tractor came with side mirrors installed. If they ever get broken or whatever, the magnetic ones would be a great replacement. Thanks for sharing these
