I think this show did a good job of portraying how guilt and grief can manifest differently in people. The story may not Have been great, but the acting from Kudrow, Romano, and cardellini made it worth it for me.
Just finished watching. I did enjoyed and agree with you. I would have lined a little more time wrapping the story. I would def watch if they come up with a part 2.
Nice spoiler free review! I appreciate that! I've only watched the first episode, and although I like the cast (especially Kudrow, who was always good at balancing comedy and drama), the tone seemed a little uneven. But it seems "good enough" to continue with it.
I tuned in for Lisa Kudrow. I've been rewatching Friends lately and she still looks so good and like herself. Her Friends costars Courtney Cox and Jennifer Anniston went the plastic surgery route and look so different. And it's nice to see her doing such a different character and making me not think of Phoebe.
@@NebraskaFalls-ee7qp Yeah I started watching The Comeback when it first came out. I just couldn't take the premise. A former actor that was on a hit show who is older now and starting on a new show with younger actors who somehow don't respect her and leave her out of everything and treat her like crap. I kept thinking "Hey!! That's Lisa Kudrow! You can't treat her like that! She was on Friends for heavens sake!" Lol
Ending didn’t have enough pay off. Didn’t mind when they would drop us at an end point and work back but didn’t find it fulfilling for the end of the season/series storyline.
This show was dumb and poorly written. The plot made zero sense. I almost turned it off when the prosecutor practically broke onto their property to see who was “in the room?” Dumb.
Don't forget that she misrepresented herself as the family lawyer to get the sons autopsy report. It's not like that was highly illegal and couldn't turn into a cluster f 20 different ways
I stopped watching less than 5 minutes of the first episode. A gay host and a couple of lesbians 3 minutes is. So I already now that this is not for me. The "message" is strong with this one.

Good review. I didn't know Denis Leary was in it 😄👍🏽
Thank you. There was a debate that you helped me win.
LOL... what was the debate?
I luv how he keeps up with the streaming apps releases cause this other reviewers don’t even see those movies 😮

It was a cute watch . Not sure why people are so against it

She played serious roles in The Opposite of Sex (1998) and Happy Endings (2005).
I really liked it!!
Just binged this with my wife, OK for a lazy sunday and definitely enjoyed it, but nothing to write home about
Chris, Thanks for posting this video....
I will try and watch it no matter what. I loved her in f.r.i.e.n.d.s. Also, I am open to suggestions on watching new series to watch on Netflix.
I really enjoyed this
“Bad Monkey” on Apple+ was a joy. What was the name of the series you said? All I could make out was “murder” for some reason lol
Murder Mindfully, it's a German series on Netflix 😁

Great show, well worth your time.
Basically just 3s this week 😮
Awesome
I started watching the scenes with the bidders on 1.5 speed. Boring. I liked the main characters only
definitely a 'pass' for me. I gave it a solid try, 1¼ episodes.
BYE

If you suffer from depression or the loss of a child, pass on it. Good acting though. 2 hour movie could have wrapped it up.
So.... "Pass", thank you.
Nah it’s da worth the watch
