companies when people show love for their show (its destroying their franchise): 😡😡😡😡
The "You must choose" transition from Luke to Anakin is EVERYTHING. THIS IS SOOO GOOD (as always)
Plus it shows Anakin looking to Darth Vader to make the correct decision which he wasn't strong enough to make.
@@zachryder3150
Wait, which decision?
@@thalmoragent9344 Bringing Palpatine to justice and not giving into the Dark Side.
@@zachryder3150Oh, I see. I was reading it the wrong way.
So, it was Anakin looking to Vader, his older self, as an example. Vader killed Palpatine, Anakin/Young Vader didn't.
TimeStamp?
Peace is a lie; there is only Passion.
Through Passion I gain Strength.
Through Strength I gain Power.
Through Power I gain Victory.
Through Victory my chains are broken.
_The Force shall free me._
From others, perhaps - but not from yourself. The chains without are nothing compared to the chains within. You can never outrun your past, so be careful what you fill it with. Weigh your choices carefully. And always remember - Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted.
The chains... The chains are the easy part. It's what goes on in _here_ that's hard.
"The dark side corrupts all it touches" - Grandmaster Yoda
"How many will die for what you call order?" - Master Yaddle
"All who gain power are afraid to lose it" - Palpatine
All these quotes perfectly sum up the Dark side and the sith
"Evil is a word used by the ignorant and the weak. The Dark Side is about survival. It's about unleashing your inner power. It glorifies the strength of the individual." - Darth Bane of the Sith
@@thedude3065Which is why even those who balance themselves, like the Nightsisters, or those who worship the Celestials (like the Ones, or the Bendu) have it the best.
They see the Son and Daughter not as personifications of the Dark or the Light, but as aspects of the Force as a whole
Sometimes, you need anger, you need to have that inner drive, that passion, that emotion to gain the strength to either save yourself or do what you need. The Son was the example of this. BUT, he fell to the Dark side in the end, he succumbed to it fully when he killed his sister and he realized what he had done was wrong.
The Daughter was on the more peaceful side, but at times she would act as the Jedi did, which is to say that perhaps she had a slightly arrogant or self righteous manner when it came to certain things in regards to service to her Father, who was the embodiment of the Force at its balance
AND the jedi
@@mustafatheslayer5125
Except for the first one, that is. But yeah, Luke's Order allowed a wider range of emotions than the old Jedi Order, which was for the best
I have no words man. You are quickly becoming my favorite editor. Just masterpiece after masterpiece, so well put together
thank you bro🙌🏼
Two of my favourite star wars editors in one comment section???
I love how he acknowledges the redemption story in Star Wars…he did it for the Vader tribute, the Empire tribute and now this. SWFT acknowledges that the Darkside gives you power quickly but in an unnatural way that leaves “cracks in your mask” and breaks you down. It isn’t sustainable.
True. Which is why the likes of the Nightsisters are so powerful, they don't use the Dark side, at least not the way Sith do, and they too use aspects of the light
"It was not some great enemy, or an unconquerable evil that defeated the Jedi, for those things have always existed, but rather, going against the very thing they believed in. Joining the War. Pride before the fall. So you see, simply by fighting, did the Jedi fail."
SWFT always delivers excellent Star Wars Tributes, this one is no exception. Powerful and well crafted edit man!
"I can't breath" (Darth Vadar's breathing sound) Best foreshadow I have seen in a long time...... long time. 💪💯
Obi Wan saying "I'm sorry Anakin" with a crack in his voice gets me every time, its such a heartbreaking moment
"You see, the war, the true war, has never been one waged by droids, or warships, or soldiers. They are but crude matter, obstacles against which we test ourselves. The true war is waged in the hearts of all living things, against our own natures, light or dark. That is what shapes and binds this galaxy, not these creations of man. You are the battle ground."
- Kreia
A surprisingly spiritual quote really, as that is the reality of humanity. The only reason so many bad things happen is because too many people simply give into the darkness within them. It’s not easy, of course, but imagine what the world would be like if we all tried to resist the urge to take the easy path.
As Tom Cruise uttered at the end of Minority Report - we all have a choice. Even James T Kirk in A Taste of Armageddon said, “We are killers but we are not going to kill today! We have a choice!”
"Evil is a word used by the ignorant and the weak"
- Darth Zannah
“There’s still good in him.”
Brother, idk how you do it, but tears are streaming down my face. Continue creating masterpieces!
Twice the pride, double the fall
The darkness is tantalizing but it breaks people. Like anakin, dooku and revan
6:52 "Hope".
So glad I clicked on this, a truly amazing tribute, incorporating so many shows, films & formats!
Spectacular work my friend!!
Thanks man!🙏🏼
Hey can you make one on the light side of the force
Notice the force has no biases. It obeyes any who are willing to control it. Only we can see the darkness.
This makes me feel like I did when I was a child watching these films for the first time. Amazing work.
I’m hyped for this premier, u never miss
I may have my gripes with the sequels but this beautifully ties them together with the rest of the star wars mythos. Simply a phenomenal edit, well done
Yep. People felt/feel the same way about the Prequels in a similar, albeit still better light.
I may not be a fan of the Sequels but they too had great potential. The Prequels had even greater potential, but the script every now and then just didn't do the overall vision justice.
@@cactusmalone
Never said the Sequels will ever be viewed positively, I said the Sequels had wasted potential, and it could've been so much more. Even some of the trashes scripts for Episode 9 would've been far better than what we got.
As for the Prequels, yeah they were rather poorly done movies, but Episode 3 was alright, and the fact it gave rise to the Clone Wars and Bad Batch is why people like that Era, even if the movies themselves were... less than Stellar, to say the least.
@@cactusmaloneThat is exactly the same shit that people said about the Prequels in the 2000’s: “They are objectively horrendous movies that will never be viewed positively. They have no redeeming qualities.”
You have become the very thing you swore to destroy.
@@cactusmalone You clearly weren't around when the original "Star Wars is dead" sentimentality was thrown around. Around the early 2000's there were entire forums and websites dedicated to making fun of George Lucas and the Prequels, entire blogs and vlog series dedicated to proving the point that there is not a stretch longer than 5 seconds in the Prequels that doesn't become excruciating to watch (cf. HelloGreedo, Plinkett Reviews). If you visited any notable comic book store or nerd gathering in the East Coast around this time you would be constantly hearing of open and total lambasting and shock of what the Prequels had become as well as self-righteous hopes that the franchise needed to be removed from George's hands. To these people and a large amount of fans, George Lucas in the early 2000's was a sell-off and a lazy fraud who couldn't pay enough attention to his movies to make the camerawork kinetically exciting or the characters and their stories compelling - yet could spend countless of hours giving out toy licenses and apparently creating his movies with those in mind. All of this Lucas-critical mentality reached its culmination in the release of the fan made video documentary called "The People vs. George Lucas" (2010).
All this backlash from entitled and very opiniated fans eventually lead to George Lucas parting with the franchise in 2012 and George obviously spitefully sold the franchise to the bigger media congloremate on earth to prove his personal point on how studio intereference would have made Star Wars even more soulless ("You will beg me to come back after this. But I won't because what you did to me..."). When the Force Awakens was announced, many of these same circles lambasted the idea of new movies and thought that Star Wars deserved to stay dead after the Prequels. The Force Awakens thematically and visually was an arm extension to this sentiment regarding the state of the Star Wars franchise ("This will begin to make things right...").
With this in mind, I am not convinced even for one second that George Lucas coming back would make people like Star Wars or its owner ever again. Its owner is always going to face an army of entitled fans and swathes of dunning-kruger revisionism of what is and what was good Star Wars... If you weren't there around to experience the early 2000's, you wouldn't really have perspective on this. Even though I really like the Prequels in my own ways, it is delusional to think that this rather new wave of Prequel love is anything else but a new wave of revisionism by the Star Wans fans specifically targeted against the new owner of the franchise.
Dude I can’t even explain to you the way my face lit up when I saw this. Super excited, reading the description, I know it’s going to be amazing!
This is where the fun begins!
Your stuff is so good man. I'm not big on SW but the fact that your edits keep me interested the whole way through speaks a lot. Keep it up!
Appreciate it man🙏🏼
This is going to be legendary I can feel it the pull to the dark is strong in you I can't wait to see it 💙
Brilliant. I love the three part setup you use
Absolutely thrilled to see this premiere is happening! I cannot wait for this, I'm sure it's beyond my expectations. Thank you SWFT for so much inspiring content to other editors
6.34-6.54 is what Star Wars is all about.
This was one of the most powerful Star Wars tributes I’ve seen, great work 👍🏻
I mean this is amazing
This is the definition of darkness and power
Finally someone who understands the very minor details of the dark side. This was perfectly done. Beautiful. This is ART
I'm afraid of watching this video because 'once [I] start down the dark path, forever will it dominate [my] destiny.'
4:09 perfect 🎉
We need more edits like this. Brilliant videos that embrace every aspect of Star Wars. The prequels the sequels the animated content, all of it. This is brilliant
Goosebumps. So many goosebumps
YESSSSSS SWFT BACK AGAIN WITH ANOTHER VIDEO
I finished and my godly god god did I gain more brain cells, that video was the most amazing I’ve seen so far aside from Darth Vader! But great job on the video @swft! Can’t wait for more 😁
I feel like many Sith or dark side wielders have regretted their decisions at some point. But they feel trapped, knowing they will never be forgiven and having to live with the memories of all the carnage they have caused. And so they try desperately to cause more and more harm to kill that voice inside them that urges them to turn back to the light. Vader is a good example for this. He was so dedicated to destroy his own humanity and erase the painful memories of his life as Anakin by murdering anyone in his path, even Sidious said it was too much. And even though he said it was too late for him, he never really succeeded. The dark side is basically like heroin. You know it fucks you up, you know you should stop, but it feels impossible to do.
The first Sith Ajunta Pall told Revan the Sith Order was a mistake. He was one of the first Sith to find redemption and to become one with the Force.
You absolutely slay these Star Wars edits! I'm beyond obsessed with these!😍😍😍
This is so so good. Need a Light Side version 🙏🏻
I can’t breathe then the Vader breath omg this is art
This is about to be epic
I have a new edit
I would appreciate if you could check it out and leave a comment
The dark side of the force is a pathway to many abilities some considered to be unnatural - Palpatine
bro just casually dropped one of the hardest star wars videos ever
Best dark side video I've ever seen, wow, great job man
Man is dropping the hardest Star Wars edits and thinks we wouldn't notice
This was awesome. Your videos never disappoint.
Goosebumps every time I hear all these lines knowing I've watched these scenes more than 1000 times in my lifetime.
SWFT is an artist. I have spoken ✋
This was absolutely amazing. First rate editing. I loved it
This was truly legendary to watch!!!
"You told me I would be free" for anakin was true pain. He just wanted to be free. Free to protect those he love. Everyone believes more will set you free but all it does is weigh you down as you sink into the dark waters of desperation
When does Anakin say this?
When was this said
That wasn't Anakin, that sounded like it was Starkiller saying this.
Damn really? I've played through those games like 5 times when I was a kid I can't believe I didn't remember that. It sounds so close to a mix between Luke and anakin it felt like it was both
It was darth maul in rebels
That 1st 45 seconds just lures you in man 😈
Hearing Shmi say you're free cuts deeper than anything else now
I already know this is going to be great! You make awesome edits!
Woooooo! This is what we’ve been waiting for
❤Can't wait!!!❤
Okay, this was amazing! You did such a good job of bringing in all the characters and making it feel real, bravo!
havent touched on star wars in a minute this was so fire bro
If I ever walk away from a SWFT video without getting chills....I need to be taken out.
that star wars rebels quote at the start>>>>>>>
For some, people have a green thumb. For SWFT, he has a gold one. Every video SWFT makes/edits, is pure Gold.
1:48 "You must *break* your chains"
Chills for that sequence
Very Nice Edit ! It gives so much honnor to the greatness of star wars we love ! Such an epic universe resolving about heartfelt tragedies ! 😢
I just keep listening to that speech from Bane. Such a good Video.
Fear leads to anger
Anger leads to hate
Hate leads to suffering
suffering and pain, so:
LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE! LOVE!
Holy crap. Such a good combination of star wars media. Well done.
The timing is getting so good. So many clean moments in this one, SWFT. 👏
As always, great job. 10/10. Keep them coming. Thank you.
this guy makes the sequels look WAY better than they are
Yeah, I'll go ahead and subscribe. No idea how this came across my feed but I need more. Great work.
dude i love your work. amazing!!
No other star wars edits include darth bane except this one and it hits so damn well 💪
Wow, this was powerful and amazing!
This was beautiful. Putting a bunch of clips together is one thing, but being able to convey emotions and tell a story of your own through them is something else... What an edit.
your edits keep Star Wars alive for me
for that i thank you so much
I don't think I know any other editor that can organize these tributes into thorough sections that tell an amazing story as well as you do
Such a good edit man, it's just great, Star Wars is amazing 🤩🤩
This videos give me what I not felt since the The Clone Wars. Thanks for your content❤️
I’m excited! Your videos are amazing I’m so excited to see this banger! 😁
i swear that is the best edit of all time! no words man!
I can’t tell you how amazing this is. This is the single best edit I have ever seen in my life. I subbed immediately
It is never too late...but the darkness is ever present you must be vigilant against the dying of the light. A master piece once again.
The best edit yet, but I love every single one of them❤❤❤
I don't even know what to say, that was absolutely incredible. Real talk, your videos have single-handedly raised the bar for this type of content. Amazing!
Seriously , thank you for sharing your videos with all of us!
🙂👍🐧🐧
Perfect! I love how The three trilogies rhymes with each other .
When I heard this was your next project I was so hyped, and this video is the perfect amalgamation of all I had hoped for. Thanks for bringing my dreams to life!
Simply breathtaking
Well… what to say… SUPERB. Well put together
Last time 1 year ago i commented on your anakin video and i said you will hit 1 mill
look at you now ,do not stop keep going 🔥
you are the best ,believe me.
Your edit skills and storytelling is on point!
If this was actually a trailer for an upcoming movie I would be jumping from excitement ✨🤘🏻
One of the best Star Wars tributes I’ve seen so far! 🤩 And I don’t normally comment on videos! It got me emotional at the end. 💙 And I love that you included the canon sequels, even if they get much flak. Well done! 👏
More people need to see this … amazing work !
This was beautiful. I salute you.
Amazing editing! Well done
Your videos are incredible, you deserve so many more subs
It's was extremely epic🔥! Awesome job!!!
Nice touch with the clone wars deleted scene audio of the Son talking to darth revan and darth bane 🔥
haha, was wondering if someone would notice, it was too fitting for anakin to not use it😂
Oh my gosh. This sounds amazing. All of this
Thanks for a great video and I liked how you showed the futility of the Dark side as the Sith Lord's such as Dooku, Vader, and Maul have tragic backgrounds
HOLY HELL! You just gained a sub. This is in my top 5 Star Wars edits on UA-cam. Keep up the good work!
