Colour mixing is probably one of my favourite things to do. However, it does take some practice and knowledge of colour theory. In this series I will be highlighting different colours and how to mix different shades of them. For this I will be using a limited palette of 8 student grade watercolour from Winsor & Newton:

Your color vids have enabled me to finally be able to "see" what color(s) are in "a" color, i.e., orange is yellow & more red, beginning to understand. Thanks so much for this tutorial. Browns are tough for me even though I’ve been painting for years. Would you consider doing a perspective tutorial after your color mixing series? For example, cools draw the eye back and warms forward.
