- Here is a step-by-step demonstration in slow motion of one method for changing feet in wing surfing. There may be other ways as well. Please share in the comments if you have come up with a better technique to change from toe side to heel side or if you would do something differently.
Tässä kuvattuna hidastuksin jalkojen vaihto siipisurffauksessa. On varmasti olemassa myös muita tapoja. Kerro toki kommenteissa, jos olet keksinyt paremman tavan siirtyä varvaskantilta normaaliin ajoasentoon tai tekisit jotakin muutoin toisin.

Great camera angle for the demo. Thanks.
Fantastic Video. Inspite of watching a couple of other videos I was not aware that I should point the boards nose up before switching the feet. Now that I see it it seems so logical.
Awesome, thanks for sharing, still working on the switch and I think this will help heaps
Very helpful...Incredible video !!!
A bit off topic, but I use the same board and I am always standing like you - mid to front, with all my different front wings, even if I push the foil to the back of the rails.
It almost seems impossible to use foot straps for jumps, especially the rear one. Found it interesting to see that I am not alone on the middle of the board :)
What brand foil you use?
Nice video finally I get it 👍🏄🏼♂️
Can I ask what resolution and fps settings you're using here for the slo mo footage?
Nice video work. New riders should dial in their foil pumping in a straight line because the trick with moving the feet is to pressure the back foot a little so the nose starts to rise, and move the back foot forwards to bring the nose down while the former front foot moves back to bring the nose back up slightly.
This is much easier if you already know how to pump the foil.
Yes, if you know how to pump the board with your legs, it will definitely make it easier to learn how to change your foot position 👍
Best video!!!!
Greatv ideo but the rope connecting the board to the leash should be shorter so that the wide part of the leash hits the board, not the cords. Thanks for the tips.
That's true 👍. Have to fix it.
Great video, what cam and case you use.
I use Insta 360 camera and in this case I have attached a selfie stick to the back of the board. I've had several different setups attached to the rear strap area, but none of them have really held up properly. They tend to break when I fall at high speed. The 360 camera is quite heavy and causes a lot of torque on the attachment point of the selfie stick when falling.
Nice video! Where and how did you connect your camera?
look like he used some kind of mount that attach to the board using footstap holes and a 360 camera. Maybe Insta360
