    Well, we don't camp anymore. BUT! My wife has a family union every summer. So now I can see another project this summer lol. Luckily I do have some scrap plywood I was wondering what to do with it...now I know! I also have some of that Zip System I built my shop out of. Now you got me thinking. Thanks for sharing this project Ken. Take care!

      This would be a GREAT game to play at the family get together Michael. Heck, make two of them and two games can happen simultaneously. Have a competition with the winning team getting to take home one of the games. The possibilities are endless. Thanks for tuning in and good luck on your project.

    Very interesting video. Thanks for sharing. I've never heard before of this game. But it looks fun to play. And not so difficult to make.

    Just shared on Facebook. I don't have the tools to do this but think a lot of people out there could do this for a Christmas gift for family or friends.

    As you were building this, I thought that it would be great to take camping. I see that was your plan too.

      Yessir!!! We took it camping and everyone had a lot of fun playing. It's a fun game and it couldn't be simpler to make. Thanks for tuning in Jim

      He's going down a dark path Paul. A very dark path. I want someone to wake me from this nightmare. LOL. Thanks for tuning in to the show sir and for the chuckle. It's truly appreciated.

    Great build Ken I was going to make one of these for my son. Just a thought. Maybe drill holes in each box for a string to mark off the distance ? Some type of clips on the string and the string can be kept inside the box. I like the handles that's where i was stumped but not anymore 😉

    • @acutabove_woodworkings
      @acutabove_woodworkings  2 роки тому +1

      I thought of having some kind of guide string Peter but as we played, we found that depending on who was playing, the boxes had to be adjusted to suit the players. A child isn't able to throw as far as an adult so the distance is much shorter. Great ideas though. Thanks for tuning in and for chiming in with your suggestions.

    looks like a fun game Kenny. i was wondering if you use the sliding fence on your router table very much, i have that same fence on one of my tables, but do not have the sliding part. is it worth buying. keep up the cool videos...

      I love that sliding mitre fence on the router table Robbi but I don't use it as much as I thought I would. I'm still glad I have it and it is a very solidly build and sturdy addition to an already incredible router table setup. If I had the time back, knowing what I know now, I would still purchase the sliding fence. I hope this helps. Thanks for tuning in to the show sir.

    Similar to ladderball

    • @acutabove_woodworkings
      @acutabove_woodworkings  2 роки тому

      I've never played ladder ball Woody but I was hoping to make one for the show in the coming months. I wouldn't be taking it camping but playing in the back yard would be a fun family event for sure and you wouldn't have to worry about the washers getting lost in the tall grass with ladder ball. Thanks for tuning in and for chiming in with your comment. I appreciate it.
