The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge return to St Andrew’s during their tour of Scotland.
Prince William and Kate first met and fell in love whilst studying at the university there.
The royal couple enjoyed a return to campus and braved the rain to plant a tree.
Prince William started at St Andrew’s university in 2001. The pair lived at the same student residence, St Salvator’s Hall, in their first year.
Although it was until a year later when ‘Wills and Kate’ started dating and moved into a shared flat with two other friends
The Duke and Duchess marked their 10th wedding anniversary this year and the love between the royal couple looks to be as strong as ever.

Refreshing to see 2 people get to really know each other before marriage...I tell my 18 yr old son there's no guarantees in life but if you really get to know someone and take it slow there is a better chance of finding a lasting partner. I also always tell him if she's a crazy girl in high school and college he better run for the hills because she's going to be one crazy mama to his kids.
