Never really looked at Christopher Ward watches but this one has stopped me in my tracks. What a cool, fun, affordable piece. The bronze especially looks great. Great concise summary Adrian, enjoyed it!
Slow down, you move too fast You got to make the morning last Just kicking down the cobblestones Looking for fun and feeling groovy Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy Chaotic. The timepieces deserve to be savoured......
Totally agree. With his following, would be great to see him showcasing independent British brands more...isotope, Brooklands, etc etc.... I'm not naive to know how it works, obviously CW has become the darling of " influencers" and paid accordingly. As a watch enthusiast it would be refreshing to see someone like Adrian use his sway to help more innovative brands but obviously views and likes pay the bills and nowt wrong with that
You are naive as to how it works!. Christopher Ward don’t pay anyone anything. They are possibly the most ethical brand out there, a long with Tudor. They get spoken about because both CW and Tudor are making genuinely great watches at a decent price. I’ve got hands on with Isotope, Brooklands and Zero West. The reason they aren’t talked about is because they do nothing for me.
appreciate your reply, with an explanation mark as well 😂 Ethical brands is an interesting point within the watch industry, I'm sure Wera and her husband would completely agree 😉 I appreciate said brands don't do anything for you, it's your channel so fair play 👍 Obviously some brands get more views than others
If you like the finishing style of Greubel Forsey, aka large, clean, and grainy plates with highly polished bridges and other parts but don't have 600k lying around, pickup a Lang & Heyne. Equaly beautiful finishings and designs for a fraction of the price.
Gotta be honest: I love my Carrera CV2014 but I don't think the finishing in the glassbox justifies $6600. Impressive movement, sure. Great design, absolutely. But those hands and indices under a loupe are indistinguishable from my $400 Citizen. When I look closely at similarly priced watches, I'm impressed. Not so much with the Tag.
The movement in the 222 doesn't make any sense. It only has 40hrs of power and it has hacking seconds with 28800 vph. You don't need to have such a high beat rate if you have 2 hands. If they had lowered it, they could have increased the power reserve further. Plus, how does it only have 50m WR when it's predecessor had over 100m???
Adrian, my first reaction to the LV Tambour was exactly as you described- this will be a scratch magnet. So I wanted to ask you if Louis Vuitton applied a diamond coating to the gold, would this prevent scratching?
Tudor are at it. With all the different colours on the black bay chrono. They obviously can't sell much of this model. So giving you some ridiculous colours. Just bring out a new model 😂
Louis Vuitton is really becoming a genuine force in Horology, the Greubel Forsey is stunning.......Love the look of Christopher Ward, just wish I could get past the name! Sounds so much like a cheap fashion mall watch!...You have one, if not the best Watch News videos, keep it up.
Tag Heuer glass box itself and the price never match with each other. It should be 2000 dollar less than the official retail price. Omega has a better finish
I think it’s a good opening salvo for 2025. Lots of things I still want to see but I like the diversity… btw in America 600k in pounds sterling would but a couple houses at least. 😁
I felt that the Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Spin-Time/Spin-Time Air Antipode were the biggest standouts of LVWW. Such a unique watch complication and gorgeous in my mind in the models without the diamonds. I do wish they had a seconds hand but that's a nitpick. If only they made steel versions instead of white gold, maybe they'd be a tad more affordable.
Just because I didn’t mention them doesn’t mean I dislike them. I’ve shown appreciation for Hublot in the past. Just didn’t see anything worth talking about.
Its amazing how dynamic the British watch industry has become, and Christopher Ward is really popping with creativity recently, not to mention Fears and the many other smaller brands! And thanks to you too, you've done your bit to herald this movement, you are the Ben Clymer of the UK, hehe! It would be great if you could go and interview the Bremont brothers, to see what they are up to now.
The Greubel Forsey reminds me of the Breguet open dial watches, also very architectural, but a lot "cheaper"! I feel Breguet will soon be gaining the popularity they deserve. Why not pay them a visit in Spring? Or go now and do some ski de fonds in the Jura! The Lac de Joux area is lovely.
No one, who isn’t actually insane, buys a bronze watch . Adrian, did you film all of this, the photographing quality is without compromise , you’re at the top of the game fella 👍
Funfact: all that you would love to see on a weathered gold watch... is not going to happen. 'No one' that can afford this kind of watch has ANY real romanticism in them... it's either an investment or a diseased fulfilment of possession.
Love the TH Carrera. Tag Heuer is doing an amazing job reviving their legendary chronographs.
CW also continues on the right track.
Tudor is just crushing it!

Love Tag heuer ❤
LV, scratch magnet of the year award winner 🎉🎉🎉
Another Adrian Release! Time to set some time aside to watch THE MAN, the myth, the legend - Adrian!
could you kiss his ass anymore? Good lord
Eager to see that CW Dune. Looks very impressive, esp COS bronze version.
Christopher Ward is the bargain breaker for me doing some fine tuning
That Vacheron PRX is awesome
He’s so back baby ❤🎉
Where were the Zeniths? 🤔
Farer kicks it old school!🫵🏼🫵🏼 Big fan👏👏👏
Those Christopher Ward GMT’s look great.
Great cost certified.
Slow down, you move too fast
You got to make the morning last
Just kicking down the cobblestones
Looking for fun and feeling groovy
Ba da-da da-da da-da, feeling groovy
Chaotic. The timepieces deserve to be savoured......
Bronze Dune with green dial on bronze bracelet... seriously awesome.
I love this turquoise tudor. First tudor ive ever wanted and oh my god do I want it.
Don't forget to always pause before the last word in a sentence, everybody! And that watch is pronounce whuaaatch!
I had to check if my UA-cam was playing at 2x speed
💯 agree with the point about the cosc movements across the CW range - would really elevate them
Wow, an Adrian Barker video with a “mention” of Zero West (even if it’s just a logo flash) … hell just froze over! 😏🇬🇧
Totally agree.
With his following, would be great to see him showcasing independent British brands more...isotope, Brooklands, etc etc....

Christopher Ward logo looks like it's for a pharmaceutical company

Automatic like. Great video Adrian!
The Christopher Ward release is talking to me.

So you think you know more than VC who has been manufacturing watches for more than 250 years because you googled for 10 min
The purple dial Tag was interesting but what clothes do you match it with? Pretty uninspiring bunch for me at least.
Those Tag’s seem a lazy way to push the brand up a tier. Whereas those CW are outstanding I just wish you could get hands on with them.
Adrian, my first reaction to the LV Tambour was exactly as you described- this will be a scratch magnet. So I wanted to ask you if Louis Vuitton applied a diamond coating to the gold, would this prevent scratching?

I think they will launch a new thinner case that’s got a metas movement this year
@davegreen2009 absolutely. A must
They should be putting their time into fixing that slab sided case ….
Gotta move the watches before an update. 😂 They have the new Only Watch model with in-house movement. So I suspect we see that sometime soon.
The people who will buy that LV would not want it beat to hell in my opinion. Not everyone has a tool watch aesthetic lens
Tudor pricing has gotten out of whack with what they are
Those tag formula ones are a rip off version of the Breitling Endurance Pro. Those F1’s were actually affordable back in the 2000’s.
Hey, I have the same cup!
Tag Heuer glass box itself and the price never match with each other. It should be 2000 dollar less than the official retail price. Omega has a better finish
lol it's Tiffany Blue but they can't say that
Why won't you ship to Europe?
❤
Is flamingo latin for Tiffany........
🤣

So glad Louis Vuitton decided to make a fancy Seiko Burger.
Tudor watches are too thick
The Greubel Forsey Hand Made 2 seems inspired by the Breguet Tradition, and that's not a bad thing.
am i mean in saying that NONE of the watches excite me?
I felt that the Louis Vuitton Tambour Taiko Spin-Time/Spin-Time Air Antipode were the biggest standouts of LVWW. Yeah, LV are starting to follow Hermes's steps. Maybe they can later start to innovate like Bvlgari, that would be cool!
That would be really cool! I gotta give it to Hermes and now LV, they've really increased their quality when it comes to horology.
VC 222 is my favourite release. Also like the Tag Heuer F1 & the new purple dial Carrera is absolutely amazing.
Why no mention of Hublot? Really don’t like the consistent hate they get as a brand, it’s so hard to find objective content around them
Just because I didn’t mention them doesn’t mean I dislike them. I’ve shown appreciation for Hublot in the past. Just didn’t see anything worth talking about.
@ no you have and I certainly appreciated it, I thought the Mecca 10 was cool and deserved an honorable mention. Still loving the videos

Still the best and most informative channel! Well done Adrian. 🤙🏻
