God Bless, and praying Heather gets well soon, and Mary and you don't get sick! I missed seeing the furbabies today! I bet they love the snow!
Thank you so much! Kip and Beean sure love all of those piles in the yard, they play king of the snow pile all of the time.
Feel better soon Heather!🙏💕❄️☃️
Thank You
Wow, that is expensive fast food. Hope Heather is finally negative. Thank goodness her symptoms weren't as severe as they could have been. My Mom just told me my niece has covid and now my sister and my niece's two boys have to be tested. My niece works for the school. Hope you have a wonderful weekend and you get that roof finally shovled. Unless of corse it has already happened, in that case woohoo!😁 love y'all!😘💖🐾💖🐾💖🐾💖🐾💖🐦💖🍗
We only do KFC maybe once a year, every once in a while we get A&W from there there, the root beer floats are special. Be careful this strain of covid seems like it's going to get everyone, at least it's not terrible like the first round. The snow guy came and gave me a quote of $1000, I do have a big house and a lot to move. He said he will be here Sunday... we will see. Have a great weekend 💖
Hoping Heather feels better soon. The poor Moose are looking for food, bless their hearts. Stay safe and warm.Have a great day.
If they can find there way in town there is lots of trees and bushes for food. That Momma is a regular to that area, She was on the river with her baby, I never seen them down there before. Heather is doing okay, I think she rather enjoys the Rapunzel life. Thanks, have a great weekend 🥰💖
So pleased for you that Mary and yourself are keeping well, let's hope Heather will be fighting fit again really soon. Great that you can get such a variety of storage containers, all you need now is food deliverys so you have something to put in them. The cost of having your roof cleared is ridiculous. Throw Mary up there, she's young and healthy 😕. SORRY MARY. Keep well and safe, sending love 💞
I know, if Heather weren't sick, I may have thrown the two of them on the roof, they need to find some good strong boyfriends 🤣😉🤔 Sending love from us Bears 💞
Praying that Heather feels better soon and test negative. I was watching the Costco part And I can’t believe your prime meat it’s so much cheaper than ours is at our Costco we are in Vegas and the meat prices at Costco are through the roof.
Thank You, Heather is getting there, she is asking for more food, haha. I thought our meat prices were really high, Costco is cheaper on meat than our regular stores and you cannot get prime meat here anywhere, or at least you couldn't until Costco came along. Funny, I though meat would be cheap in Vegas.
Do you think that the lack of food is because they haven’t recovered from the storm or something else? Thanks bringing us along! The moose are always a sight to see!!!
The Costco trucks were held up by bad weather in Canada. Now the regular stores are being smacked with tons of recalls on meats and packaged salads. I don't know what else. I have learned from the past to keep a good 3 to 4 months on hand this time of year and try not to even go to the stores.
Takes time to bounce back.
That roof snow is major money for some. Hope no damage surfaces when late spring melts.
Because our sun is so intense, ours slide off the roof. It sounds like thunder and can shake the house.
Really glad my pitch isn't towards driveway.
Hopefully produce improves in 7- 10 days.
Those truckers don't stop despite the accidents.
Stay safe and warm.
Wish you luck getting help and thanks for sharing the moose and her calf with us.
I hope they find food during this deep snow, impossible to forage and root.
I do need a new roof which is why I am concerned, but have to wait for renovations, we need a special roof and were looking at doing metal, I wouldn't have these issues, LOL. I try to have enough food around for 3 months, we are always good on food, I did order some powdered eggs, gonna try those. Yeah, the guy looked at my roof and raised me to the $1000, it is a big house, and he will remove the snow from the yard around the house too. The trucking issues came at a bad time, we have lots of recalled foods too, it doesn't help. Sorry kind of going back and forth here, the dogs are distracting, 🤣
@@AlaskanBearsVlogs i understand costs here..food and PPE aren't coming from the west with the weather they aren't used too.
We aren't moving trucks up due to storms in the northern 48.
Some of our products are raised here then processed in other provinces. They aren't returning timely. Most of our greens that come from the state's are recalled right now.
Metal roofing is the way to go but still can't handle weight. It's about installation and gauge.
I'm hoping ours doesn't have a slide when the dogs are out. Always looking up. It can extend two to three feet then refreeze suspended over head and too high to knock off.
Added costs neither of us need right now.
Stay warm and thanks for sharing.
Yeah😨 But, I just found out that my home because it was a kit, it is warranted for LIFE, how about that? I sent them an email about the roof weight.
@@AlaskanBearsVlogs Hope it helps..
Try to stay warm. Wind chill to rise a bit preparing for a 3 day dump here..
Feel bad for Florida up the east coast this morning...
Yo I just found your channel, its great to see other people from Fairbanks!! Things sure are starting to get crazy here
Sure is! Glad you found us, we are crazy too, but in a good way 😉
I live in the center of Washington state we have run out of meat, noodles pasta that sort of thing. soup is gone, we have very little dairy products, there is no icemelt to be found one of our major passes was closed for almost a week that really causes havoc for not getting food we need those trucks to be movin
It is crazy, it's just the beginning of the winter too! Be Safe out there 🤗
Patience is a virtue and being we’re in the carnal world we want things to work now. Sending healing Heather’s way and an umbrella of health & safety to your house/property & also to you/ Mary in your daily travels and meetings 😀
Thank You so much 🥰🤗💖
Sorry Heather is still not 100% yet. Hopefully things will be better in a few days for her xxx
Isn't it annoying when workmen don't turn up and no explanation either, so frustrating. I hope you eventually get someone to sort out the roof and yard for you.
I feel sorry for the Moose and all the other animals that are struggling to get around and find food. I hate to think of any animal suffering .
The 5 days of isolation have now been put in place in England instead of 10, we are still waiting for the new changes to come from Wales. ( Scotland, Ireland , England and Wales have all had slightly different rules in place)
Mary, what a beautiful and kind young lady you are helping the family with fuel etc xxx Take care everyone and stay safe.
Sending warm wishes and hugs your way. Xx
Heather is mostly okay, just cough and stuffy, runny nose. Best just to wait it out until day 10. I understand everyone is very busy right now clearing snow but yeah, don't say you are going to do it if you can't. I tried to get in contact with him again today, he came and looked, said he could do the snow removal Sunday, but jumped to the $1000 price. I hate to see animals struggling too, it's fun to see so many more of them in the neighborhoods though. Sending hugs from us Bears 🥰🤗
Hi Sherry and Mary, hope Heather gets well soon,so excited you posted a new video,I'm taking my 12 year old granddaughter shopping later, going to be a fun day🙂
Thank You, Oooo, have fun shopping!!!
There's simple ,easy recipes for dog biscuits.
I made them a few times.
I'm in Oklahoma and we're supposed to get a dusting to 2 inches tomorrow and it's HUGE!
We're wimps when it comes to snow!😄
We have lots of recipes for dog biscuits but haven't attempted to make any yet. Stay safe out there, enjoy your snow ❄ 😊
It's going strong here in Louisiana like alot of places...hopefully we will be able to get some at home test kits when they become available..poor Moose are having a struggle..can't help but feel sorry for them..will have to remember to keep the animals in our prayers. Hopefully your roof cleaning guy will show up Sunday!!
Our newspaper said you can order free test kits from the U.S. Government, limit 2, I wonder how long those would take to get? Keeping my hopes up for the animals and the roof guy. We may end up with more predator's in town 😱 lynx and wolves.
Hi Ladies 💞 Glad to hear that you an Mary are AOK,,hope Heather soon to be better💞 My goodness that's a hight price for getting snow off your roof😖hope he comes threw for yall. Fur babies must been playing in snow! They are so cute🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾💞💞yall take it easy an stay warm,,HUGS TO ALL 💞💞💞🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
Thanks so much, Heather is getting better, she is liking the Rapunzel thing I think. The guy came out today and said that it would be $1000, yipes. I wasn't going to put up a video today, but we had too much Costco, haha, no doggies, they were playing in the snow 🐾🐾🐾🐾❄❄🥰 Hugs to you too!🤗
I hope Heather tests negative. My daughter &her family stationed at Fort Wainwright are sick. Kids got it at school and she got it from them. At least her husband isn’t sick but has to quarantine with them. Wow, those KFC prices are really high. I sure hope they come and get the snow off your roof. I hope you and Mary stay well and Heather gets to feeling better. Take care!!!!!
Thank you, sorry to hear your daughters family has it, I think everyone in town will get it at some point, it doesn't seem to be too bad. It has shut down some schools again down there in the lower 48. The guy is supposed to come out Sunday, we will see. Be safe out there.
Hi Bears. Gee, hope the weekend goes better than the week with more things going right. Sad people don't want to work ... hope you can find someone to shovel the roof. That's concerning. We very rarely eat fast food. We were shocked at the prices. Wow. Hope Heather is well now and that you and Mary stay healthy. Enjoy the weekend. 💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾💜🐾
Heather is on the mend, she is eating more, so she must be doing okay, I only saw her briefly to take her test. Yeah, the roof guy said he would be out Sunday to do the roof. Those KFC prices have been a shock and a joke since I have been here, but yet they are still in business. Have an awesome weekend, we don't have anything planned, but you know us, we can't sit still, 🤣🤔😉
As a former fairbanksan, my heart goes out to you all. Many prayers your way 😍
Thank You
Hi guys, hope Heather gets better soon 🙏
Actually, I like the natural light better than the 'selfie' light ... 💖
Thank You 🥰
Hi there ladies happy Friday I'm going on a little excursion today to film, it should be fun have a great weekend!
Have an awesome weekend, sounds like fun!
Back in the day there were 'drivers' that didn't yield to the Moose on the road. These moose can get a major attitude IF they think you challenging them. Like in my time, you really are at the mercy of the Great Alaskan Highway. We always stored MRE's in case the chow halls were out of food. The guide lines change from state to state. I need to pay better attention to them for SoCal. Hope Heather feels better soon.
I have seen moose do some damage to cars, when they are threatened, some of those moose weigh as much as the car! A lot of people keep MRE's here, we usually don't but we have a working pantry and some long term storage, over the years my long term storage is becoming bigger. I am trying my hand at using more powdered eggs. I would raise chickens if I had a good place to put them. Heather is getting better thanks.
Following.. ....
Harley and myself tested positive yesterday for covid:( my husband tested positive today:( so we are just trying to stay positive. We have been watching you guys all morning. We just grub hub mcdonald's to use for lunch today and my groceries from walmart will be delivered tomorrow. Well you all take care and stay safe:)
Oh no, take care, it's not fun, good thing you can have stuff delivered and quickly.🤗
Hope you all fend well through the experience and pay attention to load on lungs.
If you test negative and still have tightness in chest, tell your doctor quickly to avoid walking pneumonia.
Take care and get well quickly.
@@pjk1714 thank you
I don't buy meat so I would never worry (vegetarian). It's so easy to make cheese quesadillas.
We rarely buy meat, some burger, mostly chicken when we do. If I bought those ready made packs I would fry them.
I’ve heard you can test positive up to 90 days! Crazy! Hope heather feels better!
I think that's why the new guidelines are in place, as long as your symptoms are gone you should not be contagious.
We had a nurse that tested positive for 8 months. After a lot of lab work and recognizing long haul she finally returned to work. Her viral load didn't drop for 6 months of the 8 to transfer. Working cardiology, it was important to know.
The University and health department learned a lot with that case.
I'm glad y'all are doing ok.🙏 Omgoodness, I could not believe the prices of KFC! 😯 We "had" a Long John Silver combined w an A& W, but closed during the pandemic...😖 Take care and have a great weekend!🌻
KFC costs $36 a bucket here and it doesn't taste the same. $52 with sides.
Just don't bother
Thank You 💖 We had 2 KFC's here one closed due to staffing issues. I am surprised the other stays in business, they are only open noon to 8.
We donut different here - day 1 is when you 1st get symptoms. Hopefully heathergets a negative test!!!
First symptoms is day zero here.
I only got to KFC for the Famous Bowl (mashed potatoes bowl with chicken tenders, corn and gravy; they used to sell it at the Fred Meyer Deli) because that one “meal” is the cheapest I have found out of all the fast food in Fairbanks and is pretty filling too.
I love the Famous Bowls! When I lived on that side of town, I would get them for lunch and not tell the kids, LOL. I am not sure they still have them.
Those KFC prices are crazy! I am not buying any overpriced meat. I’ll wait it out.
I have plenty of meat in the freezer, some people were curious of our meat prices so I thought since we weren't shopping we would do a look around. KFC is a love hate relationship here, no one wants to pay the prices but can't seem to go without, it is always busy.
@@AlaskanBearsVlogs , thank you for showing us prices. It IS very interesting. I get what you’re saying about KFC. Fried chicken is one of my favorite foods and I just can’t seem to make good crispy but moist fried chicken on my own.
Please prepare extra/emergency food! There will be more supply chain disruption this year.
❤
Good video.
Thanks!
I hardly ever eat out so I don't really know the prices but that sure looks really expensive for fast food. Hope you got your roof taken care of.
It's really high, but they are still busy.
Somehow, I muted the volume on my computer, not UA-cam, could not figure it out right away.
Hope you got it figured out.
Hi Ladies…. My husband and I will be visiting Fairbanks soon to see the Aurora borealis. Is there a way I can email and ask you questions?
