Yet these athletes are brought in to sell tickets and merchandise as well as gaining financial backers for school expansion projects. After 2-3 years they skip off to the pros.
How many future leaders of industries have we robbed our country of by dissuading them to go to these schools since more importance is placed on using funding the exploitation of student athletes for fundraising? Could we just pay them from some of the rivers of money flowing from boosters and eliminate athletic scholarships to expand educational support programs?

I have a candy bowl that sits on my kitchen table permanently. When the nieces and nephews come to visit they know they’re not supposed to help themselves to the candy but they always do when the adults have their backs turned. I’m going to get me some of that “most world’s sourest candy” and put it in the candy bowl! 😈😈😈

Fun fact: I have a horrible citric acid allergy and last time I ate (a very small amount) I was rushed to the emergency room and had to stay there for a long time. (This happen years ago and don't really remember all the details) This would absolutely merk me.
