- In this video you can actively practice and see if you know when to use the auxiliary verb SEIN and when HABEN to form prefect tense.
This exercise consists of 15 sentences in perfect tense that not only include the most important past participles of verbs that form perfect tense with SEIN but also some participles of verbs that are often mixed up. In this sentence you have to use haben, because the verb "bringen" doesn't belong to the category "verbs of movement". You can watch our grammar video about this topic:

"bringen" doesn't belong the category "verbs of motion/movement". Therefore it uses "haben" to form perfect tense. 👍🙂🙏
I am confused about the sentence "Ich habe meine Schwester zum Flughafen gebracht". If "bringen" means to take, to bring .... isn't in this case a movement from point A to B? Wouldn't that be Sein instead of Haben?
Although your explanation makes sense, "bringen" isn't one of those verbs of movement. Verbs of movement mean that the subject itself is moved, not the subject moving an object 👍🙂🙏

To practice speaking it's best to have a partner or tutor to practice with. If you practice by yourself you can use our videos and repeat (speak out loud) German sentences after us. 👍🙂🙏

In most textbooks perfect tense is the last topic of A1.1 but the words and sentence structures used in this Practice Video are A2 not A1.
But for hard working A1 learners this practice shouldn't be a problem at all 🙂🇩🇪🙏

How can one differentiate the pronoun '' sie '' in the beginning of a sentence.
Because '' sie '' can mean : they, she, and you formal?
Does this mean that we should use the context to figure out which pronoun is?
