  • Robby Andrews of Virginia won the men's 800m race in the 2011 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship with a fantastic and thrilling comeback and kick. He ran the race in 1:44.71, edging UC Irvine's Charles Jock. *NOTE: This video fixes a previous abbreviated version of this race.*

    🧐 It looked like Greer from Oregon should've been disqualified. He had plenty of space and purposefully hit the 4th place guy then ran directly in front of him to make sure he got 3rd lol DQ

      Only reason he moves in is because Andrews cut into the inside of the lane, which literally trips Greer

      @@MrKylepg yeah if anything Andrews caused the problem by cutting back inside on the home stretch- never a reason to do that. When ur on the home stretch, u run straight for the finish line. it honestly looks like he knew Greer was coming and tried cutting in to box Greer behind Loxsom, which u can actually get DQ'd for

    Excellent! Running in the 2nd lane for at least 80 meters trying to pass everyone takes a lot of time as well. 1:44.71. How about maybe 1:43 or better.

      he’s just a faster 800 meter runner. there was nothing wrong with either tactics. the world record holder goes out in 48-49
