    The CD "winder" is nice.
And to use a bikeholder as antennaholder, i llike it.

Thanks for the great video, just a quick question, what are you using for radials/groundplane?

      Thanks for the nice comment.
That is the advantage of a 5/8 antenna.
You only need a small ground plan.
      I only use the car.

What camera do you use? You have the BEST sound of any radio related UA-cam channel. Great to see you posting and great to see you active!

      Thanks for the nice comments.
I actually use a cell phone.
Before, I always used a Sony camera and sound recorder.
But now I mostly use a Samsung S20.
Fantastic sound and picture in this.

@@LA6NCA Oh wonderful Helge. On the old videos I always noticed the crisp, clear sound, very distinctive in videos, but this Samsung had me fooled because it still sounds superb! Thank you for the information and comment. 73!

I compared my audio with the sound on other radio videos on youtube. You're right here. There is a lot of bad sound. I connect the radio directly to a digital recorder via a transformer. Then I synchronize this recording with the video and audio from the video recorder.

@@LA6NCA Then this is your wonderful secret. You see, for people like me that listen with headphones, your videos would be almost 3 dimensional in sound. Very unique in UA-cam and very different. Made a person feel like they were there working the radio.
One could hear every little screw moving when removing a radio component for example. It was beautiful! Would be genius if you return to the recorder. May I ask what recorder you would use in the past? I'd like to use that one day!

Also let me add, there is nothing bad sbout the Samsung audio. It sounds very good. But there was something special about the old audio like in the video WW2 Clandestine Radio Type 3. Very unique. Yes, I would curious what external recorder and microphone was used for my future projects. Thanks again my friend!

This is a waste of time, I use a Comet BX250 II AND GET 80M thru 6 meters, resonant on 80, 40, 30, 20 10 and 6 meters.. no radials, no ground plane ..same height as he is using.. 🤷
