Just wanna say - respect for addressing those comments on Cody’s video. I’m subscribed to you both and loved seeing his shoutout. It was frustrating to see those pathetic comments. Do better, indeed. I’m excited to hear your thoughts on Hot Fuzz and am super curious if you’d ever consider reviewing Wes Craven’s The People Under the Stairs. It’s a favorite of mine and one I would actually like to see get a shot at being remade.
Found your channel a couple weeks ago & subscribed right away! You’re such a fun spirit to watch & I’m glad you realize you’re so much better than what some people give women credit for. Sending love from South Dakota! 💜
AHHHHHHH I’m so glad you watched/enjoyed Midnight Gospel! Literally no one still talks about that show besides me (that’s how it feels like anyways hahaha). I was such an emotional mess when I finished it and I remember it came out during the summer of the covid pandemic, so it was the worst (or maybe best) to ask yourself so many existential questions
Honestly, Cody’s channel, yours, and Ryan hollinger’s are some of the best out there. Especially when it comes to the horror genre. Keep up the good work 🖤🤘
Glad you got to enjoy midnight gospel! Show is so amazing, even if i somewhat hate the visual style, and found the first episode a bit hard to digest, I was sooo rewarded for being curious enough to continue. Great oscar predictions as well lol

Sad to hear about Christina Applegate having MS. 😢 I have a Daughter with MS and I know there are a ton of things that can happen. Thanks for sharing that.

Yeah strange world was very weird and slow moving. Me and my friend left halfway in the theater. Might give it another watch on Disney plus but I’m more excited to check out wakanda forever on February 1st. Love these videos! Keep up the good work!
I just finished Cody's video recently. Then I left a comment saying I'm a mod of yours and how great that he gave you a shout out to begin with was. With the stupid comments recently, I wanted to add some more positive vibes to the overall picture. It was the least I could do. I also retweeted this video :) One last thing I've been meaning to tell you a while now, Russel FX (Josh and Sierra Russel) made the cenobites for the new Hellraiser movie. Guess what they also made? Drum roll please. The Santa Claus from Christmas Bloody Christmas! They also worked on Glorious and tons of other stuff. Josh and Sierra and their crew are crazy talented. I think the overly human Santa design was probably to save money for the SPOILER insane Santa design later. Still wished the first part looked more robotic though. I definitely agree with you on that!

I didn't do as many movies as I wanted to in December, Christmas or Horror Christmas. I did rewatch Krampus, to which I realized I had not seen it all the way through. That one was much more fun than I remembered. I had a good time. I rewatched Black Christmas 2006 and it was about the same as I remembered. Its a good slasher. I think people would like it more if it weren't attached to such an iconic film. I am also very much here for man-bun David Harbour, lol. I'm all about a grungy Santa. Kurt Russell also makes a great Santa in a non traditional way in the Christmas Chronicles. That one is not horror but its a good one. I did watch the new Queer as Folk on Peacock. Two things...One , it wasn't renewed so that pissed me off. Two, its a hard watch. Its a great 8 episodes, but they really went for it in terms of discussion BIG issues within the LGBTQ+ community, along with some very real mainstream issues we've seen recently. I cried a lot. So, while I would recommend the watch because the acting is fantastic, MAJOR trigger warnings for many things. I'm with you on the movies that really bring in people just being horrid to other things (nature, animals, aliens) which is why I can't watch District 9. I walked out of that movie in tears. I know my limits. I keep toying with the idea of Eden Lake because I'm told its worth one watch even as hard as it is, but I'm gonna have to be in the mood for that. Also the people who are being jerks about Cody promoting you are just small minded bigots and I'm glad you don't allow it to get you down. The idea of Santa having an evil twin brother of sorts is a really cool idea, and I think the filmmakers pulled it off pretty well! I really enjoyed Babylon. As a fan of old movies and film history it definitely kept my attention. I would have done a few things differently but that’s typical. Its important for people to know that there were a lot more directors who were women in the 20s and early 30s. Women lost a lot of that power with the enforcement the hays code in July of 1934. I think of it as a love letter to film and the artists behind them and a hate letter to the industry.

Speak no Evil is great because you get horrified. I call these kind of movies “true horror”. I also found “The Innocents” a Norwegian movie very disturbing and horrifying. I also liked “Hatching” (Finnish) very much but that one isn’t that scary. I’m a Swede so maybe that have something to do with it. But that makes no sense since I’ve avoided Swedish culture for a long time and haven’t even watched “Midsommar”or “The Ritual” or anything Swedish really. I got the same “true horror” feeling from “Fresh” and Pearl. “X” was close to that feeling too mostly because of the old peoples sex envy. That’s horrific to think of by itself. Most of the Saw movies are also uncomfortable to watch. I get why you don’t prefer movies like Speak no Evil but you nevertheless gave it a lot of pluses. (The very end should have been even crueler I think considering what happened right before.) I guess watch Eden Lake now🙃 I found your drama story very funny. You told it in a funny way I mean. I think those guys foremost wanted to tease him. It’s great that you found out about Duncan Trussel (a very likable comedian and podcaster and The Midnight Gospel) Btw I love “entertaining horror” too like Wednesday even if the show suppose to be for teenagers. Can’t wait for season 2.🇸🇪🤘🏻 (I recommend the Christmas horror movie “Rare Exports” it’s take place in the Scandinavian area Sapmi where the Scandinavian Inuits live. That movie includes the reindeer herding and fully naked elves. (Reindeer herding is still the Sapmi peoples main income).
@@HauntedHippie I just watched an interview on the Horror Movies and Beyond channel with the Speak no Evil guys. I realized this movies is about overly polite and conflict afraid Scandinavians 😂🇸🇪🇫🇮🇩🇰 Everyone is too polite and afraid to speak their mind I haven’t seen a public argument in my life only among drunks. The suicide therefore high. People are too afraid to create a scene. It’s about shyness and too much of indoor isolated living. In a historical context is about low population and hard weather. So I think that movie was very helpful in the end something to think about.🌿☃️

I found your drama story very funny. You told it in a funny way I mean. I think those guys foremost wanted to tease him.
It’s great that you found out about Duncan Trussel (a very likable comedian and podcaster and The Midnight Gospel)
Btw I love “entertaining horror” too like Wednesday even if the show suppose to be for teenagers. Can’t wait for season 2.🇸🇪🤘🏻
(I recommend the Christmas horror movie “Rare Exports” it’s take place in the Scandinavian area Sapmi where the Scandinavian Inuits live. That movie includes the reindeer herding and fully naked elves. (Reindeer herding is still the Sapmi peoples main income).
I’ve heard good things about Rare Exports! It’s on the list
@@HauntedHippie I just watched an interview on the Horror Movies and Beyond channel with the Speak no Evil guys. I realized this movies is about overly polite and conflict afraid Scandinavians 😂🇸🇪🇫🇮🇩🇰
Everyone is too polite and afraid to speak their mind I haven’t seen a public argument in my life only among drunks.
The suicide therefore high. People are too afraid to create a scene. It’s about shyness and too much of indoor isolated living. In a historical context is about low population and hard weather.
So I think that movie was very helpful in the end something to think about.🌿☃️
And she claims she’s not leading a cult.
