@@jw9099 In a lot of scenes where walter gets serious about stuff. Its cool. I dunno its easy to notice when you see it come up but might flip into the background ig
the moment when you only had 5 seconds to pick the right dialouge option to make walt properly intimidate the two enemies came outta nowhere, and i managed to select the right one out of luck and then got one of the most iconic lines in video game history
This was easily the best scene in the game, really puts things in perspective when Walt finally earns respect on that intimidation check. Really immersive, sets up his story arc in a way the show never could
Funny enough, I saw an interview of dlz talking about how the ds game influenced them on making TV on the radio. They were mesmerized by the ds ost that they had to make a song for the show. This game's music was ahead of its time. We need a remaster for this game's ost
This was a hard and time limit mission. You had to keep pressing x on the ds so you could get to those 2 gang bangers in time to tell them to stay out your territory. And you had less then 10 seconds to chose the right dialogue because there is 8 different cutscenes that ends up making Heisenberg look fragile if you don’t choose all the right dialogue.
I still remember my first time playing this game and the song hit 0:43 it was when I realized they captured lightning in a bottle with this game. Man how time flies..
Crazy that they ended up adapting to a TV show in 2008, especially given how poorly this game sold. Tons of people don't even know about this hidden gem.
Really great and impactful piece of music from one of the most hidden of hidden gems on the original DS. Still wonder why this only plays after you buy Flynn the cereal he wants though.
If you want you could do some ds development I’ve had a crack at it a few times myself and there is a learning curve but once you get used to the way the ds handles some things it becomes a lot easier
After playing that annoying chemistry minigame, I was really annoyed and felt like I was in danger, but after seeing this cutscene and hearing the music behind, I knew I was, in fact, the danger.
It never ceases to baffle me that AMC chose to distribute this game in Europe only. I lost my original copy; played here and there, but haven't been able to track down a sufficient ROM. Game looks so fun, but with the supposed ~ 3,000 copies sold, it mind as well be lost media. Hope it resurfaces one day.
Was my first DS game, lots of great memories playing well into the night and pretending to be asleep when my mom came into my room to look if I was sleeping.
I owned the game for PSP when I was in the 3rd grade. Sadly, my UMD was scratched and the game could never get past this cutscene without crashing every 5 minutes. Thanks for the memories, haha
That idea reminds me of the first scene in Indigo Prophecy. Do you want Walt or Hank to be the protagonist? How will you play Walt's scene to help or hinder the investigation? After that, how will you play Hank's scene to help or hinder Walt's next action?
Every time I reply this game I keep tucos M16, this level is way easier with it only problem it lowers Walt's morality level but his default ranged attacks is only good for splash damage
Anyone remember the hilarious quick time events that you needed to pull off in order to achieve the RV Ending? I always ended messing it up as a kid. Seriously how was anyone able to do that on first try??
I kept failing this level until I realized you had to go up and talk to that one guy, I kept getting distracted with the shopping objectives it got annoying after awhile but the cutscene is so worth it! 1000/10 would play this game again
Avoiding the conversation at the department store and choosing not to talk to the people outside of the store unlocks a secret competitive mode against the two people outside of the department store, but most people chose not to because that route can actually be pretty tough
That guy never wanted to leave my territory. Remember that you had to use the stylus to put him apart while you Walter was shopping the materials? Later it becomes an apocalypse of people running down directly towards Walter. If you failed, he turned into Heinsenberg and it was game over.
Really weird design choice that after that cutscene where you tell the guy which matches to get to make meth properly, you then had to do a timed shopping mini game to gather all of the stuff before him. I kept getting the less striker strips on accident and failing. Fun fact: he has the same voice actor as the kid who failed Mr. White's test early in the game.
The talking cutscenes with Skyler had the worst options for me. Three options, and none where you can prevent Walt from being a horrible monster. "I took care of him, we're safe now." You mean how you bombed a nursing home to keep you safe?

Love this moment in the game, Walt was just so threatening when he walked up to the man in the parking space and warned him.
One of best scene ever ! 💫💫💫
Playing as Hank vs the Salamanca twins was my favorite part
it was crazye how many ways you could defeat them for a ds game it was really a highlight and seems to have heavily insired mgs 5

This is beginning to feel like the dawn of DS forever.
"Stay away of my ds"
*Proceeds to give the worst glare to his little brother*
hearing this play after fulfilling all the requirements for the kingpin route really cemented this game as a classic for me
I unironically listen to this
Eventually there will be enough breaking bad DS songs and footage for me to be able to gaslight people into thinking it existed
THIS SCENE. you aren't playing a victim of the harsh world... you are playing the destroyer of lives.
I like how often they reuse this song after they first introduce it.

Best song in the whole soundtrack
The fact this ost has the same motif as the game over screen was such nice foreshadowing. If you know, you know.
