Dammon could be amazing for Karlach Origin Character run. I really liked the scene you showed, experienced a wild mix of emotions with her lol. But I can see why Larian "cut" Dammon out as romance, given how deep and vast other romances are (each companion has personal quest and all that).
I'd love to believe they have a karlach DLC in the works since Dammon sends her a letter saying he thinks about her a lot and wants her to write him back. it seems like he didnt want to write it explicitly since the letter is being sent through Tav but it sounds like he intends to tell her how he feels when she writes back 😭.
This would of been so awesome. It doesnt feel good to reject her when she likes you so much and can finally touch people. Would of loved to be a matchmaker for her at least.

The only way I can do a playthrough and not romance karlach is if I knew she would end up with someone else if you dont romance her. I cant leave her hanging like that
I romanced her in my first playthrough, but I wanted to see the other romances in my subsequent ones and let her down gently. I sent her and Wyll to Avernus together, and I suspect that they got together down there, because Karlach says she's got the person she loves with her so Avernus isn't so bad. It's the same line she uses for the player being in Avernus with her, I think.
Both Sven and Karlch's Actor (Samantha Bearte) have confirmed over and over that there is no "cut content" for Karlach. Everything you got in the release version is all of Karlach's content. The stuff that they added in the Epilogue was content they made after release, in response to fan demand.
I guess it's depends on what is "cut content" for your. Defenityly, during developing process Larian's creators had a thousands of ideas, that were scrap druing that process, because they decided it wasn't good enought to add to their game. Maybe parts of thoes ideas are left over in the code, most of them propably never leave "brainstorm" stage of creation, but I wouldn't be surprise if the developers on somne stage plan to add a romance with Dammon, but after some time they tought it wouldn't be good enough. I guess Sven propably talikng about stuff that they plan to add but don't had enough time for that.
If they implement an origin-only romance option for Karlach + Dammon one day... it would give Karlach a canonical romance partner. This offshoot npc turns out to be Karlach's beloved.
yes. I think he's supposed to be the camp's blacksmith or something like that because locking Karlach out of her questline simply because of his death is just absurd when you think about it, that kind of NPC who's really important to one companion is supposed to be protected
It Would be cool if we had the artificer class, so this way Dammon could be a recruitable character...

I was expecting more from Dammon in act 3, and I thought he was essential for karlachs survival, or at least kept giving her upgrades.
I remember in the epilogue there’s a thank you letter from Dammon and it’s addressed to Karlach it’s very cute
