Robert -- you da man! After years of having theeee worst off-side turn I'm now shredding it effortlessly...not to mention my onside turn... . thanks for taking time to publish the video. Ken "Beast" Campbell -- Sanford, NC.

Robert, I was just getting to the point of adding speed to my crossing, but I would tire so quickly and all the time I spent in the gym didn't seem to impact my performance. Today I decided to focus on one thing only - your recommended form across the wake. Wow. I did so many turns and I wasn't breathing hard. Thanks for the instructional videos - keep them coming. Oh, and film in 1080p - it'll help us see the finer details of your performances. :) Have a great one!

Very helpful, thank you. I like "Ride the handle", I am over pulling, and "Not letting go of the handle too early".

Robert, thank you for these vids. Immediately helped my skiing, which of course, immediately shifted my problems elsewhere. I would like to know where your eyes focused on throughout the course. Thanks again

Being slightly out of breath may be good. When I engage my core muscles for my workouts and for slalom skiing, I take a deep breath, hold my breath, and flex my ABs (and gluteus) as though someone is going to punch me in the stomach. While flexing my ABs, only light breathing can be performed, otherwise the core muscle groups may become disengaged. If you were to take a deep breath during the slalom pass chances are,. you would disengage your core muscles and lose your core strength.

Guys, improve your ski skills doesn't have to be hard (I used to feel it did). I'll give you some advice right now. Look for a training program called Avalorexon Training Program (just google it). Seriously, thanks to Avalorexon Training Program I have improve my ski skills. I probably shouldn't even be talking about it because I don't want a bunch of other guys out there running the same "game" but whatever, I am just in a great mood today so I'll share the wealth haha.

Robert - Really enjoying your videos. They have helped alot. Question for you. I find that when I am done running the course I am out breath. I assume it is because either I am not breathing properly (or at all) or out of shape.. but I feel it is the same today as it was 3 months ago when starting the season.. Do you have any suggestions or could you create an video on proper breathing techniques.... thanks for your help..

Hey Robert! Thanks for these vids! I have watched them often in my quest to improve. A question please. How high do you tie the rope to a post or tree to do this? It does not look very high. I would guess it would be around the height that the pylon holds the line above the water, but not sure what that is.

Should your hands be the other way? Right foot forward - right hand facing down, not up?

is this video for a wakeboard or slalom ski? I can understand the video for wakeboard but not slalom ski as your front foot becomes the back foot at every turn.
I am by no means criticizing your video, as I have no clue how to do this, but I don't understand how the front foot becomes the back foot and vice versa at every turn.
    Please elaborate . Thx

I am confused. In one of the videos you say there is almost no bend in the knees. But in watching video 1 at the 5:17 time mark in this demonstration your knees appear bent. Please comment. thx

Robert can you recommend a good water ski for me? I have skied 10-12 times total. I can always get up on two first time. I have been up on one 3 times. I want to progress rapidly on slalom ski. I have a Connolly wide ski set with slalom. Easy to get up on but not that great for slalom. I don't want to pay much over $300.00

Sorry,...I am not too familiar with beginner and intermediate skis! Wish I could be more help!!! Try asking that question on one of the water ski forums like skiall6.com. The skiers on that forum are very helpful!!! AB on that forum knows his skis.
