@The_Grand_Secgend On hard difficulty you will always use almost all your ammo. In every Serious Sam game Hard is the best difficulty because you just have enough ammo to slaughter all those enemies and that's fun.
This game was simply the best and i loved every second of it when i was a kid, even when i finished the game, i used to replay the game just for the songs, the OST is amazing, especially the song at the temple level.
Me and my 2 brothers would spend countless hours on this game and never knew how to defeat the final boss and once we finally found out we were so fuckin happy. We played this and pokemon snap for n64 good times good times
This game was awesome when I got it on OG Xbox back in 04’ then I bought the PS2 copy lost it then bought got the 360 collection and currently bought the Xbox Series X digital copy love this series

You know, you should use- Shotgun - Kleer Skeletons Knife/Chainsaw - Gnaar, Sirian Werebull (By dodging) Double Pistol - Those jumping frog like things, Beheaded Kamikaze Rockets - Bio Mechanoid, massive swarm of units, the monster which summons fireballs (the boss you had to fight in the earlier levels) Minigun/Flamethrower - to get rid of swarms of units. Try to get used to this, am sure you won't have a problem.
I believe the point of mentioning Alpha Centauri in the crawl was to emphasize how far back humanity was pushed. Edge of the Universe to the nearest star cluster would be a big deal no?

There was a game called Will Rock that was basically Serious Sam in a Greek mythology setting. It wasn't as good but felt similar. It also had an intro song that sounds like (or maybe was actually) the Twisted Sister song "I Wanna Rock". EDIT: Oh! And I forgot about the game Painkiller, which was similar as well.

it is better to play in serious or minimal level in difficult, easy level does not pose much challenge and more with the advantage of ammunition and almost infinite health

I loved this era for gaming. My favorites were Serious Sam, Half Life, Red Faction and Quake 3 Arena. This game had plenty of action, and humor too.

There are only two difficulty levels to play Serious Sam - Serious or Mental. :)
