Happy Wednesday Jenna :-) I came across your channel the other day and soooooooooooo happy I did. Thank you so very much for including the design plans of the renovations that you and your honey have done and are doing. You are so gracious to include all the materials and layout needed for the rest of us to have should we want to create that look/style for ourselves. Thank you to both of you for sharing your skills and talents ;-) Looking forward to all the video's to come. Many blessings to you and your husband from Chicago, IL :-)
This voice of experience says.....be sure to you a membrane liner in your shower to prevent water from leaking through and ruining the shower wall....that happened to me.
Nice job. So without spacers approximately how much of a grout line do you end up with? I like the stacked look, I'd like to do that for a kitchen backsplash.
I just did tile in our shower for the first time.. put plastic sheeting under cement board, then Redguard on top of the cement board, then thinset the tiles into place.. trying to keep the shower substrate dry!? No mention of what prep was done here?! Yikes 😱
Looks great. The beveled edge on the tile makes all the difference. Great bang for the buck!
You didnt bring reinforcements , you got a tiler and he did everything .
In love with the beveled edge 😍
"You 30 somethings know what I'm talking about!" Boy do I ever. It's lowes and target ;) all the time hahahaha
Haha yes ma'am! Target is too dangerous for me though...

So glad you are getting value from the videos, Olga! Welcome to the party and I hope you stick around ;)
I love the tile design. Good idea!

Great idea for my laundry room reno.
Love it, so clean looking!
Thanks Gale, we're loving the results too!
Looks great. Isn't this considered a horizontal stack?
It's starting to come together!!!
The first baby step, woohoo!

Did you stack for your kitchen backsplash and do you like it. I plan on doing the same design of stacking.

I have such a design crush on everything you do. Joanna Gaines who?
❤
no spacers? hopefully no cracking!
30 somethings? So people over 30 don’t do diy projects?
You did no waterproofing. I pray no one follows your examples.
@Scott Koch there's more than one way to waterproof, like adding a vapor barrier before the cement board.
