The tree is absolutely beautiful 🤩 our cattle ate all of our milkweed but I love the milkweed pod ornaments, just perfect! The garland is also perfect, you just keep outdoing yourself every year! You shared so many wonderful and helpful things in this video, thank you! Lots of love my friend 💚
Danielle, the tree is perfection this year! Yes, the ornaments made a difference, loving it. Thank you for the tips and tricks, can't wait to see your other tree. Happy Holidays.
My favorite is poinsettia’s. I grew to love them when we raised them from cuttings 1978. To see them grow from cuttings to many greenhouses full of red, white and pink poinsettias, was amazing. Yes, I pronounce the same as you do. The milk weed pods project, who would have thought! Wow, beautiful!! Love watching your videos.
Everything is beautiful. My guess is that I am probably around your mom's age, not your grandmother, but this was something I did a couple of times a few decades ago. Yours is more beautiful. One of my favorite ornaments I remember making was glittered "stars" from cotton bolls. If you remove the actual cotton, what is left is a star shape which I then spray painted and glittered. I remember loving them. Now, of course, if I still had easy access to leftover cotton like I used to, I would probably put entire sprays of it as ornaments.
This year's tree is wonderfully Christmas!!! Love the hydrangea garland, and those milkweed pod ornaments are really lovely. Thanks for sharing & Happy Holidays to you and you and yours 🦃🌲🥰
I especially like your tree this year! The dried flower ornaments and hydrangea garland looks especially nice. So nice to see how well the lambs ear ornaments hold up! It definitely has the feeling of a traditional Christmas tree! 🎄 😊
What a beautiful tree. Love the hydrangea garland, it came out so well. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us, so appreciate it. Happy Holidays! 🎄
That Christmas tree is amazing! It was fun to see the flowers I have seen in your garden in their glory looking just as beautiful in another form. The poinsettia arrangement was beautiful also. I may have to try that one and I think anyone would be pleased to receive that as a gift.
Danielle, this tree is so beautiful. You are so talented. You gave me some great ideas and I need to add to my seed ordering list for next year so I have more beautiful things to dry and add to my tree. Thank you, I love your videos. 💚
Your tree looks beautiful, love the milk pod poinsettias. Those amaryllis containers would be such a beautiful gift and decoration to a home. I like the little gomphrena wreaths, those wowuld also be cute decoration on a holiday package.
Loved loved loved everything about ur design the Garland of hydrangeas, the faux poinsettia, the terrarium with flowers, and also the gumphrena ring and the celosia chicken 💕💕👌😘
Oh my word the Amaryllis Poinsettia container is gorgeous - the container and the arrangement - you are so talented!! I am going to try and grow more flowers this year to dry - if I'm successful, I hope to make a dried flower tree - yours are so beautiful and inspiring!
Wow! Your Christmas tree has to be the most interesting and beautiful tree, I've ever seen. I love the cool and warm tones, they work so well. Never knew dried dahlias, hydrangeas, celosias and could hold their colour so well. Sending your family a Happy Christmas. Jo. NZ
What a beautiful and creative video - you gave me lots of good ideas. I also laughed out loud when you described your cardinal attempt as "scary robot chicken".
You are on fire with all this great content! Thanks for starting me on amaryllis. I treated it as a houseplant after last Christmas and watered very sparingly. The bulb has shrunk and I’m letting it go dormant for a bit more. Will try to bulk it up a little over the spring and summer, maybe outdoors in richer soil. Would love any tips people have for helping a scrawny bulb bulk up, from bringing it from dormancy to (hopefully) bloom, then bigger blooms the next year!
Beautiful! The ornaments you made are so creative and pretty. I also loved the way you planted the amaryllis surrounded by the other houseplants! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Danielle - I think this is my favorite of your trees so far! It is absolutely stunning! The milkweed pod ornaments, and that hydrangea garland really speak to me. They are lovely additions. I didn't realize that milkweed had such stunning pods! I might need to grow that in my cutting garden next year! Thanks for all the lovely ideas! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.
Absolutely beautiful! Love the milkweed pod ornaments. I’m fortunate to have lots of milkweed on my property - now I know what to do with the pods. Thanks for sharing this great idea.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, I'm a day late watching. Everything you do is just lovely, all throughout the yr. I have to say, I think I like both amaryllis and poinsettia equally, the house wouldn't seemed finished for the holidays without at least a few of each. I was born in '58, and I love the 30's and 40's era, I too feel like I'm in the wrong era.
Going to have my first dried flower Christmas pencil tree this year thanks to you Danielle. Unfortunately our weather was wacky in the southern states. Some of my flowers gave up during our constant rain we had for about 2 months. But I was able to save some dried strawflowers and dried celosia. I also have some dried Alum and a couple of dried Hydrangea blooms. Going to use pine cones and other natural ornaments. I’m so glad I found your channel this spring. It’s a pleasure watching your videos. I’ve learned so much. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas 🎄
I love this!! I can't wait to try a whole bunch of ornaments next year! This was my first year growing cut flowers and I am so excited for all the possibilities beyond the growing season!
I just love your beautiful dried flower tree!! It is so special ❤️🎄 I never thought to collect the pods from my milkweed plants 😊 I will have a different outlook next season as I think ahead to Christmas 😍🤗
Once again - Fabulous! We just moved to South Carolina and are still unpacking and trying to find things. My husband and I hired packers because we're 75 and 76. Unfortunately they packed up my husband's precious boxes of CDs and just jammed my gardening stuff wherever. I found my daffodils but am still looking for my garlic. I will find them! I hope to have dried ornaments for next year's tree. I may have to decorate with amaryllis and poinsettias for this year. How bad could it be?
I LOVE your dried flower Christmas trees! I think I saw it for the first time last year. I set out to add more flowers I could dry to my garden this year. Another year or two and I think I’ll have enough to do a whole tree. I hope so! Absolutely beautiful! The milkweed ornaments came out great! They look like poinsettias to me.
Only gardening for a few years now and I’ve learned to love trying something new every year. This year will be trying my hand at amaryllis for the first time thanks to you. Can’t wait to see the blooms. Made sure to get a Southern Hemisphere variety! Appreciate you
Last year you inspired me to fill my tree with the whimsical dried Prince Tut plumes. This year I am planning to use all dried alliums, hydrangea heads and stems of penstemon seed pods. I usually add red cardinals but we shall see what inspires me this year! Love your tree this year! Thanks for new ideas! Choosing Joy ~ stephanie
