Nice to see Wende Cragg get some love. For those who don’t know, she documented some of the earliest mtb rides and races, in Marin and Crested Butte. Thankfully Wende is still around, and we’re lucky to have her great photos.
I am stoked that you are the caretaker of that particular bike Paul. Not only is it just plain cool it is Historic Cool! I love Wende and Charlie and all to work they put into preserving the magical time that bicycles changed the world yet again. Enjoy Dude, Cheers - M
An incredible bike, and it's so great to see it in the hands of someone who truly appreciates it. I would love to get the chance to see it in person some day. One question, when you say "105 gauge spokes" is that the same as 12 gauge spokes (ie. 0.105" diameter)? Thanks.
Too bad these cruiser bikes are a rarity outside the US. What little there are, sell as "exotic" bikes, with expensive price tags. Meanwhile the US sells them for less than 200 bucks in Walmart. Id really love to get a 28 inch cruiser bicycle, with a few gears - it would be super comfortable for city stop n go riding, cuz your saddle doesn't need to be too high. Not to mention they look badass and unique, like american chopper motorcycles.
Thank you Paul for sharing this awesome piece of history. So cool.

That mix of ‘Mana-manom’ as your outro was mind-blowing. Icing on the cake.
If Steve McQueen rode Repack, this would be his machine!
The absolute COOLEST. So glad that it’s stayed within the NorCal bike family and will be well loved :)
Wow! Just wow!
"Nicely Done" Paul. All the best from Australia! 🤘
Such a cool part of MTB history. Love it!
Awesome, all those parts bring back a lot of memories.
Absolutely awesome. The stories that bike could tell.

Amazeballs!...hope to see you and this bike at the cruiser classic 🖤🚲🤘🏽
