- Princess Ivy is in charge of keeping watch tonight, but it’s hard to focus when she’s terrified a ghost might pop out any second! Can the Divine One work out the truth behind her fears?

I know you all have been waiting to see Ivy! And with her fear of ghosts and ghouls, she seemed perfect for the Halloween season - even if this one’s a little more emotional than spoopy. I’m sure we’re all here for the sad girl vibes either way. 🤭
Since this is an Engage character and we’re still in the midst of our Engage playthrough, there might be parts of the script that are inaccurate. I looked up a lot of C supports when I made the character polls for our Former Mercs to vote in, but I resisted the urge to watch any more so as not to spoil myself. So this video is based pretty much entirely on Diamant and Ivy’s C-Support, with a lot of guess work on my part otherwise.
Please don’t spoil anyone in the comments!
I had to record this video in like four different sittings across three different days because my neighbors could not shut up. Please excuse any sound inconsistencies! I tried so hard to get this one out on time. 😔

Like I said during the premiere, I'd embrace Ivy every day and night. The beautiful, lovable goofball princess deserves all the warmth she can get.

In writing the script I knew the ven diagram of 'how much ivy needs a hug' and 'how much the audience wants to hug her' had to be a full circle lol sometimes we need comfort from the character, but sometimes the character needs comfort from us
@@Ophelia_Hoshino One thing I love about Ivy is how much she takes the first impression that you likely get from her (the potentially evil, sneakly, plotting hot lady) and then instantly flips it on its head. In reality she's a scared, still levelheaded but insecure fangirl.

I applaud you for this one. It is probably my favorite of your asmr for sure. The atmosphere is great and the different scenes playing out are just.. Fantastically full of life, despite the middle of the night.
Yet what I find most impressive is how distraught and wrecked you make Ivy sound by comparing her father and the fell dragon as living ghost. How she is devastated by how her life just gone so.. Awfully wrong due to it all. The comfort of the divine one, as such, feels even greater and welcomed.
I love to think this is soon after the port of firene aka chapter 17, which would make the sight of alcryst comforting a nightmare bound Celine even greater.
I lack words, but this is masterful. I adored this and will listen to this for many nights to come.

That's around the same timeline I imagine the story set, maybe because that's about where we last played in the stream. Ivy's already been through so much, and I can only imagine she's got a big storm coming once we get to her homeland. That's probably another ghost waiting to haunt her.
