This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever listened to. The guest was hilarious but the topics you touched on were at a higher level. I shared this episode with five people. This podcast was a piece of art in itself. Great great job, guys. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 I listened to the podcast and now I’m going to listen to it on UA-cam while I work. Amazing!!
This episode felt like someone opened up my chest, reached into my core, dusted off all my insecurities and brushed away every negative thing I've believed about myself, looked at my heart, nodded, and smiled ❤️
I’m finding this late but at the perfect time-thanks to the algorithm. Jerry’s wisdom is much needed right now as I was dying on the inside of cynicism 😂
Yay I love older guests!🙌 *edit* Alright bruh YOU talk about the art racket. So much money laundring and tax loophole stuff. U want the reporters to talk. I want YOU to talk. As an outsider artist and a street artist. (Well graffiti people he many times seemed tobrefuse to refuer to us as artists but that might be me projecting. But dude expose galleries and aution houses the millionaires billionaires. You have the power to expose alot too. You in the mix ol man you are rubbing shoulders with all kinds of folks why don't YOU look inward and start with YOU. You have much you bcan expose for the greater good for sure. 🤷♀️ this man really thinks he's a walking book of wisdom he had some good nuggets in there but he's definitely a type of person I'm glad I don't interact with since I left new York city.
I have been listening to the Downside since April 2021 and this is my favourite so far! I think it's one of the best interviews I have listened to in a long time!!!
I've never been confident that Jerry Saltz was worth my attention but I have been throughly enjoying Gianmarco's reactions to Jerry's proclamations. I really cannot tell if Jerry ever listens to other people or only the preconceived notions in his head. He plays such a strange victim to his own choices. Interesting crossover episode though!
This was great! I really enjoyed of all part of it! It was creative, energetic and thoughtful! You have also such a great eyes to see the art, Gianmarco! I learned from your review about that painting! Thank you guys!
He reminds me of my school counselor in college. Great man. @19:00 As far as the atm thing, Id be afraid of getting my info stolen and getting hacked lol
My first time listening to the downside and I feel like I just had my quarter life crisis cured in one video

Damn, I just wanted to have some noise in the background while I worked but I left everything to listen to every word he said. This was wonderful
This One is like a pep talk and a hug telling that the 2nd half of your life still matters - Thank You Very Much Everyone ❤️💐
This was great! I like the idea of having more non-comedy/theater people on.
Thanks for having guests outside of the comedy world on! This was such an enlightening listen
I love art and comedy so this is a surreal clash of worlds.
This episode and the episode with Roy Wood Junior were phenomenal!
What the fuck Gianmarco? This made me think. Like really hard.
I feel like I have to watch this multiple times. So many gems.
Thank you.
Top episode so far. Jerry was so QUICK with the dry wit I kept thinking he must moonlight as a drag MC 😅 even I felt called out half the time ahaha

What a delightful + artful conversation. 😊
Not even 5 mins in and im gonna listen to this whole thing cause I am loving his voice
I love it when guests call out Gianmarco on his shit. But this guy is *the king* of reading him, and I love to see it! 😂
The art protests are beautiful! If the climate doesn't get taken care of no one will be around to appreciate it anyways
Also I love his point of view! It's lovely to hear his story and pov amazing stuff
facts and theres literally no harm in it except for someone has to clean it up

I loved his perspective on female comics! I never thought about it like that before!
What a great episode, love this!
An amazing and profound conversation
when Jerry Speaks, I listen. It's that simple.
Sorry Gianwhoever, it's Jerry's show now
The podcast just started for me and he is already speaking fax 😂😂😂
He reminds me of my school counselor in college. Great man. @19:00 As far as the atm thing, Id be afraid of getting my info stolen and getting hacked lol
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Gianmarco become so quickly infatuated with a guest. He was hanging on every word.
this is honestly one of my favorite episodes and I don't know why, I love Jerry though
Such a great episode! One of my favorite takeaways: More jews should drive trucks.
russel post the picture!!
this guy's pretty interesting, but fyi you can absolutely die from lack of sleep
Jerry Saltz: the world’s grandpa.
The most grandpa ever
Great show!
Can someone tell me why this was uploaded at freakin 4am
Someone was either up late
Or early af
Idk which one is better
Late af😂😂😂 he is still a stand up comedian in clubs hahahah
It was really hard to find Russell’s info! You should add it to default description!
Wow... what a *fascinating* person!
20:35 Is Gold
Is Russell they/them or was that an epic crack by Jerry?
I know it’s the downside but I’m boutta jump off a building listening to this jeeez
