My wife and I were delighted to see a very beautiful balance of ethnic diversity in every picnic area…especially along Crescent And Coquina Beaches! Sarasota sounds exactly as you have described the beaches of Naples!
We are very curious about the area..also Bonita springs...as a Black couple.....cause we also hear alot of things....and the main reason i ask about the climate there for POC is i might be moving to Florida because of work.
AS someone from here. Southwest FL, is pretty a conservative place, but its not like the backwoods redneck culturally backwards areas you hear about. even as a POC, youll here some ignorant things few and somewhat far in between , mostly from northerners. Its not the deep south. That being said, unless youre over the age of 55, raising a family + have a good paying job, this part of Florida isnt for you. Too expensive, and there really isnt a ton to do if youre younger. If youre STILL concerned, just know Florida is one of the most diverse states, stick to Tampa/Orlando, maybe even Miami , Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tallahasee metro areas if youre concerned, i think Tampa is the best city area in the whole state, especially St.Pete . Just know that Florida salaries are LOW, you should have a job lined up before you move, and get quotes from car insurance to know what youll pay.

It doesn’t unless you have gone through the proper channels. I had to deal with this personally myself and I can tell you the process is horribly long but if you do the right thing no one is deporting you.
It's unfortunate because I have had this one Mexican employee on and off for 20 years, Extremely hard worker, and he cannot get his citizenship approved. It's a Federal issue. His wife got her citizenship, his daughter is serving in the US Army. Great family and would make great Americans. Nothing about our Federal immigration system is functional right now.
