@@euroasianbob9268 I made it back to Maine! Thanks Bob! 20 hour round-trip. It was like you were tagging along with me this time! I don’t know how you guys do this all the time its brutal. Especially when I had to go down through Connecticut, New York and Pennsylvania, on one of the most traveled corridors. cheers to truckers!
Owning a Porsche with a salvage title, and never knowing it, must be a terrible feeling now. If no paintwork, could be a brief flood writeoff that isn't apparent.
Is it gray or granite green? The latter is a really cool color. You don't want to start it with old, dirty gas. It will clog the injectors. Get it home and drain the tank. Check the trip odometer. If it's at 000, the odometer is broken and not registering miles. No telling how long it might have been broken. Sharks are cool. You'd love an S4.
I remember the Car Wizard's comments on these cars, especially when they've been sitting. Great cars, but they are money pits. I'd love to manual-swap it.
Maybe a good find. Just some observation on the use of HDR in your videos, and in some other UA-camrs posts. The HDR looks good on devices that have HDR playback capability but looks flat and washed out on devices, at least some I own, that don't play HDR. My newest Samsung phone plays them great but my relatively new Samsung tablet does not. Just thought you might want to know.
We have a little thing called the 944fest in the Cleveland area of ohio.. its at a little track called Nelson Ledges where the fast recorded time ever a 944 did in the world.. super kool.. and people bring 928s and they swap ls1s in them after the the engine blows.. its a killer event
driving 10 1/2 hours to Pennsylvania to pick up my 91 C4 ZR1 binge watching your videos for inspiration helps pass the time. Thanks, Bob!
@@gsmith207 hope I don’t put you to sleep! Lol.
@@euroasianbob9268 love all your trips, you got good friends you rope in! cheers from Maine!

@@gsmith207 awesome! Glad you made it home safely!
@@gsmith207 jealous of the C4Z btw! I actually just took off to CO to pick up an 88 C4 35th anniversary with a manual transmission and 33k miles.
Car deserves to be driven. Always liked the clean lines.
At least the guy kept it garaged unlike the last 2 you looked at!
@@bmwpete65s55 right!
Definitely a cool car

taft returns!
If the price is right, I’d take a chance if it has option 220, locking diff
As an S4 owner, this is not the one you want to buy. It needs a ton of stuff that won't be cheap.
yup i agree. always buy the cleanest version.

928 S4 not cheap for repairs and maintenance…
Mileage unknown and a salvage title. I'd walk away from this one.
Sad to see a "car guy" unable or unwilling to properly maintain this car.
