- Here's an overview of all the hardware and cost for building your own Ethereum mining rig to run at home (just make sure you have a cold secure space for it - secure from kids especially). You could also use this same type of rig to mine for Bitcoin, LightCoin, or any other digital currencies. As of March 18, 2021 this is all new hardware on the market for building the best possible small rig for a fair price. Note that when building for your home, power is the biggest limiting factor to how powerful your rig can be - you'll need to run the calculations on the watt/amp draw. Most home circuit breaker switches are between 15-20 Amps. You'll want to spread the load on dedicated circuit breaker switches for maximum reliability, uptime and safety. Happy mining!
Started mining beginning of Oct with a RTX 2080ti and a Vega 64 in my gaming rig, now 6 months later 2x3080s 2 x3070s,a sapphire 6800xt,a 2080ti and vega(damn rabbit hole) all happily mining away while I play games.
742MH/s is not 1GH/s
He just needs to fill them two empty card slots and to lower them watts!
Don’t need that many watts. My FE gets 123Mh on 300 watts (88%). GPU also provides some hash rate on my 3090 so try -200 or more. I lose 3Mh when running at -500. Bam! 20% energy (heat) savings. Otherwise thanks for the video! Awesome!

@@Wolfgang51501986 the only thing I’m worried about is that mining isn’t going to be worth much when eth2.0 comes on the scene. it’s a big investment I’ve made. $16k nzd!! So if the rate drops it’ll take way longer to make $$. Are you worried also?
@@stevec5192 I would recommend to sell the Cards in 1-1.5 Years. Your ROI should be around 300+ Days. Thats too much. But if you can sell your Cards for around the same price as you payed for them you should be good. I am currently also mining ETH, but i can change to RAVEN for the same profit (only worst case). In my opinion any ROI over 100 Days is just too much speculation.

@@linuslepschies8321 300 days too much. But what about not worrying about it as the value of Bitcoin will only go much higher etc. so whether I mine a certain amount of Bitcoin. It’ll be worth way more in 1 2 3+ years. I dunno. Lol

hey man, nice rig, would you be able to give advice with the software in regards to developer fee, I currently use nice hash, I only have 1x 3090 but that 1 percent could help if it goes straigt to me everytime. any help is appreciated, would be great if you could make a video how to set the software up.

Nice. You still got the 4RUNNER? I use to mine bitcoin in 2011 with Ati cards then I got a butterfly labs asic miner. I want a new eth mining card.
I got tangled up in a startup company - sold the 4Runner to a guy in Arizona. She now has an AZ plate with the same name. Thinking of a new Bronco for my next rig - so much potential!
