Whether IS-IS graceful restart and IS-IS BFD can be enabled simultaneously in the N/W. If yes what are the advantages and disadvantages and if no what are the advantages/disadvantages ?
Excellent explanation. I also love your crt coloring and was wondering if you have a a tutorial or willing to share your AppData\Roaming\VanDyke\Config
Nice one... there is another one point to be said here ... instead of using BFD, we can modify the routing protocols hello & hold down timer to achive almost same result right...?... y do we need to run additional protocols?? Here is another one use of BFD On heigher end service provider routers (like ASR 9k , CRS and NCS. ) will have multiple slots for RSP and line cards.. if u reduce the timer of routing protocols that will be additional overhead for RSP as routing protocols hosted on RSP, The Routing protocols can offload this additional task to LC with the help of BFD.. basically your BFD hosted on LC not on RSP or RP...
I just said one additional point... my intention is nothing bad about the session.. he is legend... I am big fan of him ... we can not compare his teaching talent and knowledge with any other trainers....best trainer I have seen so far...
It's VanDyke's SecureCRT not PuTTY. SecureCRT 7.3 added support for colour highlighting of key words using regex. Search for the "Cisco Words" ini on the VanDyke forums.
You mentioned that BFD should be avoided on links that flap, so does this mean it should only be used on bundle links because a single link has a more possible outcome to have flapping failures on a single link connection.
Thankyou! By the way i have done simulated from GNS 3 and eve-ng with IOU L3 , when i was fail over test, there's no impact of BFD feature. Just 4 sec down time with / not BFD. There's someone can help me?
very insightful, and quick typing too....
thanks ...finaly a good explanation with no "india-english" :)
Nice explanation.
You sounds like Joe Pesci teaching Network engineering. :)

Excellent ⭐⭐⭐ - Just a side note. How did you get the colour scheme in Putty?

I don't think you can do BFD on virtual environments.
Muy bueno!!
