That's the way great leaders descusts world affairs, not by bullying to control; the rest of the world should stand for that leadership; thats what the world needs.
The potential for mutual cooperation and growth is immense among these 5 nations.
Russia filled the gap immediately after sanctions were lifted and even now companies that left due to sanctions have not come back. Russian and China mechanical equipment is easily fixed and they use standard parts that are immediately available.

As I said few comments above... King is dead, hail to the king... Which means, end of "American imperialism" will just change to China one... If they will successful.

Thats what they are trying to do here. Any country that wants to becoming a Chinese subordinate, BRICS is the place to sign up. Alternately you can just take piles upon piles of debt from them and when you can't pay they will just come seize what is theirs. They have debt trapped the crap out of Africa and the poorer Southern Asian countries.
It is funny they still put Putin on a bigger picture than the others because they know he has a huge Ego despite having a mouse of a country. Russia has no real economy and a sub-par military. Whatever Putin doesn't outright give to China will be easy for them to take as Russia becomes more and more dependent. Right now Putin is being Xi's useful stooge by taking all the heat while China can hem and haw and hedge its bets.
In the 60's and 70's it was US and China. 2030's will be Chinese sphere and US. In the US, West, and Europe, we have a lot of power in the people and insist on limiting our governments power. It leads to high productivity and high standards of living. If you look at these Chines sphere BRICS countries, they all have strong borderline authoritarian governments, the people have little power, and their populations have low standards of living.
I feel sorry for the Russian people for having Putin. They could do tremendously aligned with Europe if they had the courage to challenge their government. Instead Putin is subordinating Russia to China so he can preserve his authoritarian rule. In exchange for Putin keeping his rule, the Russian people get to compete with China's labor market and a pretty much guaranteed low standard of living. That's a sacrifice Putin is willing to make.

@@sosoable India's defence budget is 3rd highest in the world. Of course it is still around $76 billion which not enough for a country like India which is surrounded by two nuclear armed nations who for a matter of fact are holding Indian territory illegally. Yes there are many problems and shortcomings, India needs to tackle but I think India's influence in the world politics is growing and India's say in the world affairs matters.
