The thing is there WAS a designated left turning light, the driver just wasn't going to wait for it (I've been there)
It was an unprotected left so you yield for anyone who's going straight. Idk what the fuck you're seeing, there was no way for him to make a left turn before the light turned yellow, they should had just waited.

So two things I wanna say about this clip
1: you can tell exactly when he sees the car because that's when he slams on the brakes and considering how quickly he did both and the fact it DIDN'T end in a wreck is pretty impressive, props to the driver there
2: IDK how it is where you live but where I live, if you enter the intersection before the light turns yellow or red then you can turn on yellow or red since you kinda need to move to let traffic going the other way through

my idiots in cars moment was yesterday when I was walking across the street from my parked car to my apartment and two cars traveling perpendicular to each other both blew a stop sign at the exact same moment I tried to cross, so they both nearly killed each other (and me)

Yo so context for the Mustang, that’s my buddy’s car. He’s been tryna make extra cash by renting his car to his friends and one of them did donuts in a parking lot and ran from the police with it. When the cops approached car owner, turns out the car had been involved in multiple crimes. Car owner had to go to the station to find his car in a wreck. My buddy’s currently suing for damages to the car.
Your friend has terrible friends and clientele. The people who rent a nice car for cheap are not the people who should be driving it or taking care of it.

I actually saw this kind of stuff happen irl, i watched as a trashy old super van (the one thats like from the 80s) turn a corner and just pop the front off of another car then PEEL out of the parking lot. the driver to me looked like a literal potato head

I'd love to see coney drive with a dash cam. Surely coney has never had to wait to turn left at an intersection and then the light changes yellow.
The dash cam driver probably assumed dominos guy was gonna stop because you know, dominos guys' light should also be yellow and started to turn. The truck in the far opposite lane even stopped, so even more reason for dash cam driver to assume dominos guy would stop. Dominos guy created a situation where dash cam guy had to guess if he would stop or not. Its like how self driving cars cause accidents because the "driver" assumed the car would stop itself.
I wouldn't put any blame on the dash cam driver in that situation.
They tell you in Drivers Ed to pull into the middle on a green light and turn once it's yellow and oncoming traffic has yielded. Drivers like Coney cause others to wait for 3 or 4 light cycles since they don't pull out into the intersection when waiting to turn left.
