Obviously CPA exam has been a pain in my ass, but that won't bother me any longer I have gotten my license already thanks to you Mr Dylan God bless you more cuz you made it possible for me
For me it's the work experience requirement. I got the 150 credit hours. I got my bach degree in accounting and finance. I want to take the CPA but can't because I need 1 year experience. I applied to internships and entry jobs that require 5 to 10 years of work experience. So, I am stuck...can't get any job and the job has to have a CPA where I will be working under the CPA licensed holder. So, I can g o work at an small accounting firm but if they have no CPA on staff. It won't count as work experience for the CPA.
It all starts at the college level where unsuspecting, though hard working students are deceptively weeded out or discouraged from the major. No guidance on how to get through the more difficult tricky classes. Oh, and not all undergrad programs have a basic intro accounting class! They just go straight to the 200 level class. The jig is up. It's long overdue. The curriculum needs an overhaul.
For sure the 150 hr credits for me. I am almost finished with my CMA and am considering sitting for cpa with my 120 but I’m not going to lie, obtaining the credits is a pain….
How are you going to take it without the 150 credit hours? I got the 150 credit hours but I cannot get an internship nor a entry level job. They require 5 to 10 years of work experience. So, for me it's the getting the 1 year work requirement.
@@bebdaumon3948 sorry for the late reply, but there are plenty of states where you can sit for the exam with 120 hours. You will not be able to apply for the license until all of the requirements have been met. From my understanding, for Big 4, you need to have 150 credits to be able to intern with them.

I studied for months and couldn't pass, I guess passing is a blessing
CPA exam might seem so tough to pass but studying very hard is a very vital skill to win trust me.
Everyone has their own way, Dylan worked for me and studying didn't .
passed mine after studying so hard, I'm not discouraging anyone just wanna say do whatever you believe will help you pass.
Low pay, long hours, high barriers to entry. The trinity of why nobody wants it.
So much good information here. It's bad for your health to work busy season hours. My mind is blown!!!
