For the buyers- The MGF offers the pistol to yearly graduates (some one says since 97) for a small sum -->over 1500$ us. The WP pistol teal and others design it, and its a ONE time creation. Molds destroyed says MFG. I saw the email sent out to ARMY parents and classmates in late Dec. when my son entered Westpoint in 2018. So, its avail for purchase, somewhere between Xmas, and Jan, then they make so many, and they send them to the new owners based on state regulations. I must be fast, as they notify and then the offer is over within a month. I would question if anyone can buy at this time, but its not just anyone who gets the notifications.... I got the notice from a backdoor source as it was.
Dude I never new West Point was a thing till today. This place seems unreal, is everyone really that high speed? Did you take classes there that thought you cinematography? What was your experience like going to that school? From the outside it looks like Yale or Harvard and the Army had a child.

Our daughter purchased a class ring- as most all do, she was required to purchase a sword, which she had mounted and gifted to my wife upon graduation, and we purchased two of the 1911s which we use for shooting. Nothing is given for free- all purchased by the cadet.

Typically it's a gift from the parents to the cadet - which is special ordered through the Pistol Team coordinator.
