Rabotino is a village, for which Ukraine lost over 100 000 soldiers in less than a half year and they called it a very important and significant achievement.
But why is the Western media silent about it now? Maybe they’re too embarrassed to admit that the “Well trained modern” NATO army lost to shovels and dishwasher thieves?
Is it not telling how, instead of reporting Ukrainian set backs, the media (here in the UK) deflect attention from events by highlighting the PR visit by a minor royal?

Russia acted in self defence as Nato began to train and arm the Ukrainian armed forces in 2014 after the US gave $5 billion in funding to instigate the Maidan coup against Ukraine's democratically-elected government. BTW, Obama admitted the funding amount in a TV interview. As Angela Merkel admitted, the Minsk Accords were simply a device to give Nato time to arm Ukraine. What would you expect a country thus threatened by Nato to do? What if your country were threatened in the same way? Would you not expect your government to act to protect it? The US has stated its intention to instigate regime change in Russia and to split it up into half a dozen separate states, just as it did in Jugoslavia. How about if a warmongering foreign entity intended to split your country into six states?

Russians are using the same strategy that they've used against Germans in WW2: Make a large front, extend it as much as possible, then attack constantly, everywhere. Enemy has to shuffle forces from one part to the other until it doesn't have any force to shuffle. Then line brakes, Russians pour in and advance as much as possible on both sides, making a cauldron, then they kill everything that doesn't escape the cauldron and rinse-and-repeat.
This is what happens when you study your history and learn from it, instead of re-writing it to have more women, blacks and gays in it. You destroy your enemy, drive it before you and hear the lamentations of their women.
