I am so impressed with your commitment, tenacity, diligence, to your filming techniques. It is as if you have multiple film crews in front, behind, and above you as you explore. Not to mention the family chemistry required. Now for fun, and in contrast, how about an outtake video showing us the challenges in making such a quality video...... that would be fun!!!!! Keep it up.
Love your blogs. Better than anything on tv these days. Keep it coming. We travel through your eyes or lenses. Awesome videos. Well done. Keep it up please.
Thanks for these videso...! Is like im right by ya side exploring.. I'm going on a trip soon, and I cant wait till me and my girl explore more. Thank you so much
Thank you guys for sharing your travels and good family times along the way. We were in Utah a month ago and can't wait to go back. Living close to Tahoe in the Sierras and close to the coast has spoiled us as far as finding places that are beautiful and giving us fun things to do year round. But Utah shares that same draw! Thank you Utah!
We just left Utah. We were there from March 12th through the 18th. On the 12th, we got a hotel in Bryce Canyon because it got down to -6. But the rest of the time was amazing. We were down Wolverine Trail into Cooper Canyon. It was amazing and cold. Great video.
We had the same cold weather experience back at the end of October 2020. Camped at the Wedge Overlook in the San Rafael Swell. 19 degrees and the water iced over in the jetboil before I could light it up. And if you haven't, you need to check out The Wedge Overlook. We camped 25 feet from the edge of what is nicknamed The Little Grand Canyon.
In 1990 while living on our boat in Florida we realized we would never see enough of Utah unless we moved here. Thirty one years later we are still finding new roads and awesome vistas. Welcome to paradise.
Love the videos, watch you guys all the time so I went back and started watching from season 1 episode 1 this past week, crazy to see your daughter grow up in a "week" 🤣. You guys have been an inspiration, after 25 years of sitting behind multiple computer screens, im hanging it up and about to follow your footsteps, ready to travel america by dirt...keep up the good work and be safe!
@@LifestyleOverland one tip, would be great to start every episode with the date as some people may find some trails closed due to snow. Great work. What date was this filmed and any trails closed by snow?
Ok, you may have crossed the line on this one. I'm a state away and totally agree that Utah is amazing. It's a special place. I'm sure you're just being nice, as I KNOW AZ is your favorite. Don't forget it. :) Safe travels.
Very nicely done...I'm always impressed after watching your work and vicariously enjoying it with you. Have wheeled in Utah several times and we're from Idaho. You may want to put it on your list as you'll be impressed here also and less people generally. So many trails, so little time...😱
Ya'll stayed in the Quality Inn Outside Bryce Canyon National Park on the 89. Good hotel that one is. Inexpensive and good location for visiting Bryce.
Keep em coming. Lol. Love seeing videos about the state I live in. Lol Yes, camping in Utah. Frozen water one day, boiling water in the heat the next. Lol
How does Utah desert cold feel compared to what you experienced up in Canada and Alaska? In Utah it can be70 degrees during the day and in the 30s at night. Welcome to spring time in the Rockies. I hope you make it one of your future go to places! Godspeed to my favorite UA-cam family!!
How do you zoom out when your camera is stationary and you are both driving? Is that a setting in your camera or is that edited in after? Time stamp 4:07
What kind of sleeping pads and bags are you using?! I've done my fair share of winter camping and found that those two items are ones to not skimp on. I also always have an emergency blanket to either put underneath or wrap around my legs - makes a huge difference!
Guys, how can you not have your heat situation figured out yet? Diesel heater for the tent and add some 12 volt heater pads to your water tanks. I did this and we now have a true 4 season overland system. Keep it up! Stay safe.
What is the name of the song that has the lyrics “building up a castle from the ground” ? it’s starts playing at 4:36 of you video. Thank you in advance
Did you get a peak at Molly's Nipple while you were there? Southern Utah is one of our favorite places. Try driving from Escalante to Lake Mead. you have a 70 mile drive on a trail across the Escalante plateau, culminating with a frightening drive down Kelly's Grade, a narrow road cut into the face of the escarpment which is the southern face of the plateau. Zion is breathtaking! Take a break from the camping for a day or two, staying at Ruby's, a great base to spend a few days working the trails in and around the spooky hoodoos. Having said that, Utah is amazing, but Alaska is on a whole level level and is the most incredibly beautiful places I've ever seen. And the fact that Alaska will kill you if you are stupid means you have to earn your right to enjoy her.
So happy you guys are doing this, been a big fan for a few years! My family and I love camping, especially during the winter. I just broke my ankle on my daughters third birthday, so these are a nice little way to "get away" from home, while im shacked up healing.
How do you like that 23Zero Tasman chair? Is it comfortable? Been thinking about getting one but the armrests look a little skinny. Yes I'm picky when it comes to my camp chairs.

Utah is the best. And that's saying a lot for a Texan. Safe travels. Can't wait for more.
Utah is one of those area that truly feels like you can explore forever and not get bored.
These videos are better than any movies or tv show’s. So ready for some outdoor life after all this stuff and glad we found Lifestyle Overland 🍻
Love your blogs. Better than anything on tv these days. Keep it coming. We travel through your eyes or lenses. Awesome videos. Well done. Keep it up please.
Gosh, exploring the West/midWest looks incredible! 🤩... We're mainly trekking in the Appalachia region but we've got to get out that way!! 🤙

Thanks for these videso...! Is like im right by ya side exploring.. I'm going on a trip soon, and I cant wait till me and my girl explore more. Thank you so much
As a southern Texan with Czech ancestors, it’s pronounced kolahchee. Caliche is a type of soil lol.
as a fellow Texan, I was going to offer the same. Glad I checked first. You are spot on - for Texas, lingo, anyway
Creation is glorious. Your family’s love for each other and genuinely shared is heavenly. God bless you always out and about!

I just added Southern Utah to my explore list after watching these episodes. Keep having fun and doing what you do!
I love your traveling like this so I watch your video with great interest.👍👍❤
What a great video! The scenery is beautiful in southern Utah. The camera shots and editing of your videos is top notch. Love your channel. 👍
At 11.20, its a perfect example of "Approach" and "Departure" angles, that newbies probably constantly hear about.
In 1990 while living on our boat in Florida we realized we would never see enough of Utah unless we moved here. Thirty one years later we are still finding new roads and awesome vistas. Welcome to paradise.

Just when I thought I’ve found all the good videos on overlanding, this gem pops up. Amazing video shots.
I've lived in Utah for my whole 45 years and I've not touched everything yet it's the most beautiful state in the world
Same. 42 years for me. Love it.

When I drive north from salt lake on my way to Idaho, we cross into a valley area that just amazes me
I can’t wait to explore out west. You guys are almost to 200k subs congrats!

Southern Utah is a winner in all aspects.
Love the adventure. One question that I have is, did you sell the Turtleback trailer?
Travel safe, can't wait for the next adventure.
This is living...
My wife and I love your little propane campfire. What brand/model is it?
What is the name of the song that has the lyrics “building up a castle from the ground” ? it’s starts playing at 4:36 of you video. Thank you in advance
Sounds like a slowed down version of Spirit City - Come Together but I could be wrong.

How comfy are the 23Zero camp chairs?
Utah is definitely my favorite state. If I'm ever on a trip that doesn't include Utah, it will almost feels like a disappointment.
My favorite line from any overland show I have heard so far: "Oh, you can film but they're gonna get the reality" 😊😊
