Hey hon I love your videos very informative, I’m happy you shared your recipe I’m a newbie and would like to try this so I want to know if I should use 5.47oz oat milk and also 5.47oz water in recipe as well?
Hi, you’re welcome and yes that is correctt 5.47 of milk in the oils and 5.47 of water mixed with lye. The recipe that calls for 5.47oz of milk and 5.47oz water is WITHOUT the water discount and keep in mind that you might get some soda ash. I also listed the recipe with the water discount as well.
Lol No it will not melt in one bath. I can’t give an exact timeframe on how long it will last since that is determined by a few things like how you store it, how long you allow it to cure, the oils used, and how often you use the bar once it has cured.
@@3baashandmadesoaps937 thank you. I actually did it today using that recipe replaced it by sunflower oil and tweeked it a little. Will let you know how it turns out.
OMG I am new to soaping so i am so scared to do any milk soap, but thank you so much for the breakdown i will definitely try it and also looking to get a stamp it makes the soaps look so sexy 😍😍sending ❤❤n 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Lol. Thank you. I have a few videos where I use milk powder instead of the liquid. It’s easier to work with and offer the same benefits. Welcome ❤️❤️ oh and search custom soap stamp on etsy.
Hi, yes lye is needed to make soap. The good news is that if everything (lye/water solution and oils/butter) is measured and mixed together properly there is no more lye present after the saponification process. TRUE soap is made using lye.
Hello so in soap calc there is a spot for you to select/enter percentage and oz. If you enter in the oz it’ll give you the percentage. I weigh in ounces.
I love goat milk I been using it in my soap for like 3 years but I use the powder I am transferring my formula though to oat milk and switching out my actual honey I think I’m trying to go full vegan with my soaps lol

Question-Am I adding the 5.47 oat milk to my oils and the 5.47 water to the lye to make the solution?

What did you do with the liquid you originally strained from the soaking oats? Did you add them to the milk?
Hey no I didn’t add that to the milk. I just got rid of it lol.
How long does it last? does it melt in one bath?

Hello, by what oil can we replace the apricot kernel please?
Hey sweet almond, avocado, olive and sunflower to name a few. Avocado is pretty good.

So, it doesn't matter if no preservative is added to the oat milk water-right?
Right because soap has such a high ph no preservative is needed.
Do you have to use lye?

Can we have the recipe in % percentages please? Thanks
Hello so in soap calc there is a spot for you to select/enter percentage and oz. If you enter in the oz it’ll give you the percentage. I weigh in ounces.
@@3baashandmadesoaps937 thank you 😊
Plz add the percentages so we can fit to our own molds
Hey, when you input the ounces in soap cal it will give you the percentages as well as grams.
I love goat milk I been using it in my soap for like 3 years but I use the powder I am transferring my formula though to oat milk and switching out my actual honey I think I’m trying to go full vegan with my soaps lol
I’ve been thinking about doing that but a few of our best sellers include honey lol.
U did not said what kind of oil
Hello that is correct. You can still achieve something very similar with your own favorite recipe.
