- What a fun car to drive! BMW's Joy of Driving and the efficiency of all-electric. One important item I want to mention is BMW's Flexible Fast Charger(standard equipment with the vehicle) with a 240v adapter cable included!! When using the 240v adapter cable properly at your residence, you are looking at 0 - 100% charge in less than 9 hours. Another great feature of BMW's battery charging technology, then using a public DC fast charger location, you can get over 90 miles in range in just 10 minutes. We did have a vacation in the US last summer and drove through 1000 Qaks on the drive back to Santa Monica from Sta Barbara. I did think of you. Hope you are well and good to see Trish too. I been trying to find high and wide for what Active Driving Assistant does.
Does it help the car come to a full stop in the highway if there is bumper to bumper traffic under 40 mph? / (or any other speed).
My greatest fear is if I zone out and the car ahead of me comes to a full stop. I know BMW idrive 7 has what they call Frontal Collision Warning / Mitigation but doesn't explain how and when it works exactly.
You have a very good car channel. In general, I love gasoline BMWs, especially the M version, although their diesels are also good.. I’m not a big fan of electric vehicles, but if I were choosing for myself, a BMW is better than the same TESLA. This i4 actually looks good.

Got one for the wife to compliment our X5M. Great combination, one gas suv one electric EV. What EV owners need to learn is Preconditioning and Regenerative braking. This I4 is fabulous!

My i3 with its 155 tires handles like a regular BMW. BMW EV’s don’t compromise on dynamics and handling.

I don't mind BMW being EV's, but what would get me to switch over and buy in to the concept is if BMW made the designs the same as the gas powered engines. I don't like the wheel design, the front grill, it doesn't say BMW. I bought my first BMW at 22, a 325i, then an M4 in 2015, a M5 competition in 2019, and an X7 for my wife last week. Love BMW's but I'm not digging the EV designs.
