UCLA Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Commencement 2012 - Dr. Sadiqa Stelzner

Dr. Sadiqa Stelzner addresses the 2012 Ecology and Evolutionary Biology (EEB) graduating class. Dr. Stelzner is a graduate of Harvard Medical School. She is the Director of eye care at the Greater Los Angeles Veterans Hospital, Chief of Ophthalmology at Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center and Orthopedic Hospital and Assistant Clinical Professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine and the Jules Stein Eye Institute. She is also a physician in the Santa Monica Eye Medical Group. In addition to her medical practice she has traveled with humanitarian organizations to perform surgeries where she literally gives sight to patients, and where she teaches her safe and innovative surgical techniques to local physicians in Mexico and El Salvador.
