I did this project on 2k14. Along with it I attached high torque motor to lift heavy weight home appliances through steps. It's a good kind of project for the future advancement from this.
Simply you've to increase the diameter of main wheel instead additional 2 wheels. It could be reduces your effort while climbing on steps. Any how different thinking..... Thumbs up 👍

Excellent invention. Try to put on some weight before climb. This shall ensure the wheels switch, which is the moot point. See if this can be optimized by the size of the wheels or the provision of a locking facility to avoid reverse fall, a small suspension which would enable it for use in healthcare (stretchers, etc). Great job guys. keep it up and extend.
Its already here in usa....but need to make advanced model......old age ppl are using here in north america for their daily shopping ..but it has some other features too...not bad kid keep going....all the best
My dad made one for carrying his ovens. The only problem he add was that the wheels axis sometimes popped out of their place due to weight (+250kgs sometimes). That's the problem of aluminum.
Have idea of 3 tyres cart for climbing staircase....and when I see this..I fell ya man you really have done awesome job... think about bringing it as a product in market... especially railway station;
Bro i appreciate your efforts but i am Furniture Removalist in Australia for last 10 years and these trolleys are very old we even use hoist to get heavy items in tall buildings
superb guys simple but so useful that's what only true engineer can make.Just one thing that can be a setback your wheels are in accordance with the stairs you showcased in the video what if the size and width of stairs changes so try to consider that and make adjustments in wheels to rule out this problem.
I think there is not enough momentum for the 3-tire configuration to rotate, check that. Also, i'm a big fan of the 4 legs configuration, but the transition to the 2 points should be faster, maybe through a mecanism. On addition, i know that this desing is quite used around the world, but that doesn´t mean you can`t add something new to it (this thing goes more to the wankers trolling on the comment section). Think on improving the frame with better or cheaper profiles, or even materials. On a last note, try to think who might buy this kind of product, on how to make the production cheaper and so on. It may help you lads to produce it, sell it and self-fund other future projects. Keep going, create or die. Good luck.

If load is heavy ,a single big wheel will not land or give you a rest on a standard stair step, wc is dangerous when you are tired or weak.
