I just realized you guys made it over the 200K subscriber hump!! I'm so proud of you guys, felt like you were hovering around 180K for SO LONG. You seem like the sweetest people and you deserve all the good that's coming to you
Thank you sooo much 🥹❤️ It honestly felt like we’d never get past the 180k range 😅 So thrilled to finally hit 200k! Hope you have a fabulous time in Korea!
@Cheryl Schaeffer ikr! I was thinking the same thing! We need to get more people in! I made my mum be fan of them, now she watches every Sunday, now I need to find another "victim" muahahahha 😂
I am soooooo excited that next week will be the Q&A with Kyuho's mom. I adore her! She's amazing! That hanok-style restaurant was so pretty. My English student told me there's a place near Busan where everything in the town is hanok style... even Starbucks. Feel better, Sarah! PS.. I love surfshark! Definitely reasonably priced and worth it.
@@2hearts1seoul I have no doubt it will turn out perfect. Good thing Kyuho was an army translator so he can do those subtitles (although I think the real work with subtitles is typing them... probably more so than translating... is that accurate?).
When I lived in Korea I lived near Deokso in Gyeongi-do. Watching this video was like going back home! I kept expecting you to turn a corner and I’d recognize a shop or a street. So fun! Definitely recommend going back to check out some more of the hidden gems there!
Downtown Abbey was my all time favorite show. I saw the first one that you’re watching, the second Downton Abbey, and the newest movie where the family goes to Italy. They are all so good.
That lunch looked delish! So looking forward to next week's video with Kyuho's mum! I follow her on Instagram (her baking looks amazing!) and hope to maybe take a cooking class with her and my daughter when we visit South Korea! Please say "hello" to her from me! Hugs from British Columbia! :)
I cannot wait to see the Q and A with Kyuho's mom. That should be fun. I love seeing your "fur baby". It was good to see him because had been so ill.😻😻
That you guys are still surprised by Korea reminds me that everyplace has surprises in store... if you take the time to look. Keep getting your adventure on! And, thanks for your work.
You guys are the kitty whisperers. Sorry it was so cold on your day trip. I love it when you can get with Kyuho’s mom. She seems so sweet. Oh no! Sorry yo hear that you’re not feeling the best. Happy Anniversary to your mom and dad Sara.
Yes to watching Indian Matchmaking!! Seen all the seasons! So extra when they fly in flowers from a specific region.. Or build structures for the venue. Hahah
Thank you for taking us on that mini trip, the scenery looked so beautiful its a shame it was that cold. Oh glad to hear Sarah's parents are enjoying here in Mexico 🤗 where do they go?
Wow.All those flowers were beautiful. I so hope to try alot of that food someday, but i can't do super spicy, either. Lol! The cats have their favorites, between you two. Thanks for the video.❤
Thank you for recommending the book “Flowers on Fire” in your previous video. It was a perfect birthday gift for my daughter. I’ll get to read it later. Love your videos.

@@2hearts1seoul yeah I get that. I just tried going outside without my winter coat yesterday. We are supposed to go to 23-25 today and then down to 6 or so the neXt day,so I will have to see. I am just so relieved no snow.
Absolutely looking forward to that video next week! The soondubu looks interesting. Why is it in like a million pieces? Is that some specialty way they make it at this place? The only way I can remember having it, even in Korea, was like the whole cube in the soup and clay pot style bowl.
Ohhh, there are different types of tofu when it comes to texture and firmness. The firmer ones are often sliced into cubes like you mentioned, and the soft type is for soondubu jjigae 😄 ‘Soondubu’ literally means ‘soft tofu’ 😁

Sarah, have you taken a deep dive into South Korean movies ? I just wonder if you and Kyuho have seen "A Moment to Remember" 내 머리 속의 지우개 from 2004. It could have a really interesting video if you two could have made a top 5 each of best South Korean movies. I know South Korean movie reviews are popular on UA-cam as it kind of has a niche following abroad. By the way, if you have not seen this movie, then don't read about it or watch the trailer as it has a huge spoiler that will ruin the movie experience...
I've never heard of anyone else watching Indian matchmaking so I was surprised when you mentioned it! The success rate for couples on the show doesn't seem that great lol. Apparently there's a show called jewish matchmaking coming out as well!
lol, Kyuho, you are too young to do the holding-hand-around-your-back as you walk. I noticed that you caught yourself doing that and immediately put your hand to your side again, lol….I am older than you and I have yet to do that, when you start doing the hand around the back thing while walking, you become a harabahjee! lol. Sarah, when you say you have chronic gastritis, you have chronic inflammation in your stomach? I know you had few tests, including h pylori and upper endoscopy, if those were all fine and doctors do not have a specific cause, do they diagnose you for something called functional dyspepsia? I am assuming you might be on a daily regime of antacid or even something like pepcid, nexium is bit more effective but you may want to limit the long term use for that one, pepcid is better for long term use although not quite as effective as nexium. In terms of trying something bit more natural, I am not sure you can find this in Korea but when you go back to Canada look for something called FDgard. It is an over the counter natural supplement for people who have symptoms similar to you often called functional dyspepsia, for some patients, this actually helps and sometimes reduce the amount of flare ups one gets. And it isn’t some weird herbal stuff that there is no studies done but there has been lot of studies done and gastroenterologist actually even recommend this to their patients to try. It may not work for everyone and it sometimes takes a little bit time to work but some patients see some good reduction of their symptoms and/or see relief, and like it better than taking medications that may or may not work.
He’s been doing that since he was in his 20s 😂 And thanks for the suggestion with FDguard-I’ll definitely look for that when we go to Canada. I don’t take nexium daily, though I did for a couple of months when I had more bothersome symptoms. When I avoid spicy food, I seem to be able to manage it, but it would still be nice to get some of that FDguard!
