All's well that ends well. What a fantastic job on the back end of the van! Only a few weeks until the big trip - you're ready for a break. 🙃👍 Sam's bedding area - henceforth to be known as "the red light district". 🤣 Hugs to you, Lisa and Riley! ♥🤗
Know what you mean about the carpet liner. Changed the rear door panels on ours to pvc carbon fibre look alike during Covid and cut recessed pockets into them. Not cheap as big panels but don’t regret it as hard wearing and don’t mind getting wet when it’s raining or when using outside shower. Safe journey, hope it doesn’t get too cold passing through mid-Spain. Can be a bit snowy in the Sierra Morena mountain range overnight. Still you’ll be used to that in the Lake District 👍🏻
Great video on finding the most amount of space in the van ! That blue souround you have got the consumer unit in is that hand painted and hand made we hate the ugly look of our solar and consumer units they look great!
How do Sam. Job's a belter. Great work. Bikes fit great. That mattress protector is a brilliant idea. if ever do a van with fixed bed I'll keep it in mind.... by the way, saw a crafter yesterday at a van dealers as we were passing wigan..... 9995 zero vat for 2020 van... if it had been next year id have got some dosh off my house and got it lol. Hope you got a bigger ladder for the bed or the boss wont be happy ( cue slap round head off Lisa at next crafty meetup🤣 ) one question. I love that wrap on the back board. where'd you get it please. As ever, massive respect and all the best to you and Lisa🙏- Kenny
I see your bikes have hyd brakes. Your LBS will have plastic transport packers (on boxed new bikes) to stop the pistons accidentally popping out of the calipers (if the br lever is accidentally pushed). Would be a good idea as you have the front wheels removed
Hey buddy been recently watching your videos from here in Ireland. The standard of work is fantastic.......I've missed many of youre earlier video's whats your background in building/diy/van building? Cheers Jay
I grew up poor and had to learn fast 😁 I've worked many jobs mate picking up skill along the way, I'm an electrical engineer and specialise in nuclear decommissioning, security, and resilience so there's a few transferable skills, l also have very bad OCD the wife calls it Oh deary me! 😁
