If I had to choose then I would have gone with 2D one because the content available in that is more as compared to the 3D one. As 2D is based on History if universe and 3D is based on Mission on our solar system’s planets

What is better 3d or 2d?

To be honest, Both show are good as per their content, as 3D show is more oriented towards space missions and the 2D show is more oriented towards the history and working of universe, it’s completely your choice which type of content you choose or like to watch. One more thing, 2D contains more beautiful scenes as compared to 3D and it seems so real just like 3D but 3D gives the depth and have more part of solar system so you cannot expect beautiful universe parts. Additionally, 3D show have an extra part of 10 min of some clips of biodiversity of earth with just a background and some clips from ocean and mountains and all.
At last, it completely matter up to the person, like I somehow prefer 2D show because of its concept and beautiful scenes, but 3D is also not behind.

Yes, I work for public events by organised by planetarium, so on special case, they allowed me.
