- VN24 - 04.04.2022 - Beckum / Germany - During teardown work of a farm in the middle of a newly developed industrial area in Beckum, Germany, a nearly 40 ton (88,000 lbs) so-called mobile impact crusher for recycling construction waste, stones and concrete broke through the ground into a former slurry basin. Fortunately, the basin was slightly shorter than the 14.6 meter (48 ft / 575 inch) rock crusher, so it got stuck on the edges with the chassis at the back and front and did not fall further. An employee had moved the machine aside by radio remote control. As he turned to walk away, he heard a loud crack behind him. He had by mistake placed the crusher right on top of an underground slurry tank that no one knew exactly where it was anymore. The concrete pavement could not withstand the wiping of the machine. A mobile crane had to be called in to free the crusher from its awkward position. There were no injuries in the incident, nor was there any glaring damage to the machine.

Obviously a full survey of the area where the concrete crusher was working was not carried out previous to commencement of work. An interesting recovery different from the usual VN 24 recoveries.

Dafür hat die Decke aber trotzdem gut gehalten!

Steel on steel for lifting not best should have used lifting strops or timber under chains so not to cause damage to crusher
The frame is strong and it wouldn’t cause any damage or problems.

@@markusfrombgen2967 Wenn so alle Lehrer arbeiten ist es kein Wunder, dass man mit jungen Mitarbeitern kaum mehr etwas anfangen kann.
Die Bauleitung ist verpflichtet den Arbeitsraum sicher zu gestalten. Eine Überprüfung auf Hohlräume gehört da als erstes dazu. Wahrscheinlich sind schon zig Fahrzeuge darüber gefahren - doch irgendwann holt die Realität das Glück ein.

Hohlraum unter der Arbeitsfläche. Nicht gut gearbeitet von den Planern des Abrissunternehmen. Das Gullebecken müsste in den alte Bauplänen verzeichnet sein. 👎

Siehe Beschreibung, keiner wußte mehr wo genau das Becken sein soll.
Müsste in Bauplänen verzeichnet sein ja aber es kann durchaus sein das es keine Pläne mehr gibt dann kann meiner was dafür denn man sieht es nicht. Und es ist auch im Endeffekt egal es ist kein Mensch zu Schaden gekommen und die Maschine hat auch keinen wirklichen Schaden und kann das Geld was die Bergung jetzt kostet weiter verdienen. Und wenn der Unternehmer gut versichert ist zahlt das auch noch die Versicherung.
Auch wenn es keine Pläne mehr gab gibt es einfache Techniken herauszufinden, ob darunter ein Hohlraum ist. So etwas darf von der Bauleitung nicht passieren!
@@xxx3xx6 doch sowas darf passieren und sowas passiert auch sehr regelmäßig mit anderen Maschinen das was hier passiert das ist keine Seltenheit
