- VN24 - 10.05.2021 - Enningerloh / Germany - On a country road near Westkirchen, north of Enningerloh, a 100-ton mobile crane has crashed into a field. The new telescopic crane with a own weight of almost 50 tons had gone out of control in a slight left-hand bend. According to the driver of the vehicle, a truck was coming towards him precisely in the area of the bend. In an attempt to drive as far as possible along the right-hand edge of the road, the crane and its four axles ended up on the unpaved shoulder, from which it was unable to extricate itself. As a result, the crane left the roadway, drove down a slight slope and overturned. Extensive preparatory work had to be carried out for the recovery operation, which took hours. A power line had to be dismantled and secured, and temporary fixed crane sites had to be set up on the narrow country road for two mobile cranes. The driver of the mobile crane involved in the accident escaped with comparatively minor injuries.

Absolut Peinlich ist, dass der Canasius seinen nagelneunen DEMAG Kran auf die Seite gelegt hat und dann noch seinen Schriftzug abkleben lässt. ZU Fehlern steht man, wenn man Eier in der Hose hat!
Vielleicht hat er ja den Namen des Fahrers abkleben wollen 🤣
Sehr schön das man auch nach dem abkleben noch C.C auf den unfallkran lesen kann...

I recognize the guy from Horstmann with the long hair and the pistons tattooed on his legs. He certainly seems to get around. Some very careful planning in the restricted hard standing available on the narrow road. A very interesting recovery this one. Well done to all concerned.

It's not the same company.
because the name on the accidented crane may have been that of the company delivering the crane from the manufacturer to the new owner. (these are called Drive-Away services in Canada & the US. (I happen to be the "Director - Compliance & Risk Management" of such a Canadian Drive-Away company, with 50 drivers under my control. I myself have had the pleasure of delivering a number of mobile cranes all across North America during the last 17 years in my current position. (simply because we do not have sufficient drivers experienced enough to handle such oversized/overweight & expensive vehicles.)

Well done job by experienced crew made it look easy. I'll bet though it was 10-12 hrs to setup and packup all the equipment and about 2-3 hrs to actually move the crane onto the trailer, well done all.

Das Abkleben hätten sie sich sparen können, wenn von der gleichen Firma ein Kran gestellt wird, gleiche Farbe gleiche Firma.
Geht wohl eher um den Abtransport der Kiste.

Für was klebt man das Canisius ab, wenn ein weiter Kran der dieser Firma dort bei der Bergung vor Ort ist? 😂😂 Am am spannendsten finde ich ja mal wieder den DAF Trucker mit seinem Pk72002😅 Wären die Sicherungsbolzen leicht gefettet, würden sie von alleine einrasten. Außerdem pfeifen beide Ventile der Stütze bei der Betätigung, und die Pflege des Kran bzw stützen lassen auch zu wünschen übrig😉 Hauptsache die S3 Schuhe werden total sicherheitsbewusst offen gelassen🤣👍🏻 Aber die verdeckte Werbung toppt alles auf dem Kran😅 Gute Besserung dem Fahrer👍🏻
Wenn du der Kran geführt hatten, wahre die unglück nie geschehen! Denke mal auf den führer des Kranes! Wir sind doch alle menschen, und niemand macht sowas mit absicht!
Ich habe diesen Zirkus, der um sichtbare Firmennamen, Telefonnummer, Internetadressen, Kfz-Kennzeichen usw. auf Fahrzeugen gemacht wird noch bei keinem Film aus einem anderen EU-Land gesehen. Dabei sollte die DSGVO doch in allen EU-Ländern gelten. Aber da ist Berlin mal wieder 150% vorne dran.

Great video and recovery, a note though, if you are going to blur the company name out on the crane, it would be wise to do the same with the other recovery crane from the same company.

Das eh ein Überbreite-Transport, da spielen die paar Zentimeter auch keine Rolle mehr. Außerdem ist es fast unmöglich, die Räder gerade zu stellen wenn der Motor nicht läuft !
@@markusfrombgen2967 Mag ja gut sein - trotzdem fällt auf, dass sie den Kran zuerst schon fast auf dem Tieflader hatten, dann wieder herunterlassen, auf die eingeschlagenen Räder schauen und dann das Gefährt wieder mit ausgerichteten Rädern auf den Anhänger laden. Wenn's kein Problem gewesen wäre, hätten sie sich's ja sparen können, würde ich meinen
Schlauer wäre es natürlich gewesen, die Kiste erst gar nicht in den Graben zu kippen.

Which seemed fairly pointless as it's the same company doing some of the recovery work, LOL.
Looking at the distace the crane bellied along the verge before the front axle dug into the field would suggest lack of observation and anticipation on the drivers part. I'm not a crane driver but I do carry heavy plant from time to time and if I'm coming up to a bend especially if there's another large vehicle coming towards me or if I cant see round the bend then I've slowed right down before I'm anywhere near the bend. If that crane was at a reasonable passing speed then that front axle wouldn't be ripped off the way it is and the cab wouldn't be sitting at the angle it is. Basically I think he just kept it lit and lost it on the bend.

I had one like this on the pier next to USS California back in the day. Fortunately they went the other way and didn't hit my ship! I was the Damage Control Assistant, so my rescue crews were first on scene.

Когда я начинал после института работать на Ленинградском Кировском заводе бригадир водителей-испытателей меня наставлял - Вы подготовьте нам фронт работ , заранее закажите необходимые приспособления , масла , смазки , и так далее . Потом можете спрашивать и работу . Спасибо ему - научил . Позже от-же сказал - научил на свою голову . Хорошие по жизни были учителя , в том числе и руководители . Только зачастую в случае аварий , сложных поломок , непоняток с техникой ( особенно новой ) вызывают руководителя для разрешения ситуации . Мне видимо больше везло на хороших начальников . Только вот сколько раз встречал ситуацию когда безграмотные подчиненные приводят к неприятностям в работе . Особенно это стало характерным в последние годы .

Warum kleben die den Namen zu - an den anderen Kränen kann man ihn doch nach wie vor erkennen. Die Bergung würde einen Dritten sicherlich 20'000 € kosten.
Da sind 2 Unternehmen am Werk. Das betroffene und Peterburs . Der Einsatz des eigenen Krans halbiert die Kosten :😂.. Aber was mich interessiert...Wie lange war die Straße gesperrt? Das war ja nicht mit 5 Minuten getan.
Diese Berge-LKWs sind wirklich beeindruckende und faszinierende Geräte!
Schade nur, dass erst ein Schadenfall (hoffentlich kein Unfall mit Personenschaden) eintreten muss damit sie ihre volle Leistung und Potential entfalten können!

I had a long career as a crane operator. Once I got a 40ton all terrain Grove into a ditch and it almost turned over. It took two big wreckers to get it out. I heard it was about $600 each for the first 2 hours. After it was back at the shop they fired me, but I had another job the next day. Couple of days later they called me to come back, but the new job was better. I did come back to that company about a year later, but by that time all the folks who remember my little Boo-Boo had moved on. So, all was maybe not forgiven, but it was forgotten.

Bei solch einem Unfall, mit Böschungsabsturz, sind vor 40 Jahren zwei meiner Firmenkollegen ums Leben gekommen. Seitdem weiß ich, daß Anhalten im Zweifel immer besser ist.

Our 130 ton demag while setting 100 ft light poles .over a guardrail complete upside down on the side of the interstate , The operator setting up , standing between the fully dressed crane and guardrail notices the upper works starting to swing realized the house lock and swing brakes aren't engaged starts to climb up to set the brake just as the crane starts to roll over he just keeps climbing and ends up standing on the bottom of the crane upside down in the bottom of a ditch uninjured not a scratch on him ,took 3 days a 300 and a 500 ton crane to recover .
It takes very little imagination to know who owned and operated the crane, covering logos and names, did not disguise who owned the crane! One side shot shows C. And ends with two uncovered letters. I assume they where leading in the recovery!
Warum macht man nur die beschriftung an verunfallten Kran unkenntlich? Das die anderen Kräne zur selben Firma gehören ist leicht zu erkennen zumal man noch Teile der Beschriftung am Teleskopausleger erkennt.
Ich find's auch doof. Man sieht ja, dass der Kran nicht umgefallen ist, weil die Last zu schwer und die ÜLS defekt war.
Hier lag vielleicht ein Fahrfehler vor, der jedem passieren kann und der Fahrer hat keinen Grund, Harakiri zu begehen. Betrunken war er höchstwahrscheinlich nicht.
Oder er ist absichtlich in den Acker gefahren, weil ihm auf seiner Seite ein PKW entgegen kam, den er mit seinen 48 Tonnen nicht platt machen wollte. So hat er den Tod mindestens eines Menschen verhindert, -hätten auch fünf sein können. Wenn's so war, dann hätte er dafür das Bundesverdienstkreuz verdient.

NO HELMET! YOU'RE FIRED! Seriously, in some areas I know, that would never be done without helmet. Not for the big parts (for which an helmet will not help) but all the lose parts (free chains, placing parts under the crane chassis, etc.), they should wear helmets.

Hauptsache der Fahrer ist heile davon gekommen.Die vordere rechte Stütze des Abschleppers (bei 06:36) ist aber auch nicht wirklich optimal gesetzt so am Rand der Fahrbahn. Hätte mich nicht verwundern, wenn die weggerutscht wäre.

bin kein KranSpezi, aber was ich auf unseren Baustellen schon gesehen habe ist das noch echt harmlos.
in dem Fall ist die Linke stütze entscheident und der "Hilfskran" auf dem Abschlepper hat noch genügend Achsen auf dem Boden... nicht optimal, aber auch nicht ganz Wild, so eine Kategorie "Erfahrung ist alles"
@@elofos0815 ich bin auch kein Kranspezi, aber die Stützen müssen einen gescheiten Untergrund haben. Denk an die Worte: "Kranplätze müssen verdichtet sein" ;-).
Nein Spaß beiseite, mag sein, daß viele sich wenig drum scheren, aber wenn die Kiste mal wegrutscht, dann liegt der nächste auf der Seite. Wenn die rechte Seite nicht die entscheidende ist (was im übrigen nicht zählen dürfte), dann hätte er die Stütze ja auch einfach 10cm weniger weit ausfahren brauchen bzw. seinen Abschlepper gleich gerade hinstellen, denn hinten passt es ja. Dieses Modell kann ja bis zu 22t heben, ist also schon nicht ohne. Und wie man ja auch sieht, rutscht der teller ja schon leicht weg, als er nur die Stütze ausfährt, da war ja noch nicht mal die volle Last drauf. Wobei ich von diesen Kunststoffunterlagen nicht wirklich was halte. Ich finde da Holz wesentlich besser.
