Chris has always liked all types of music, so when he left Home Free he started a solo career, then started another group and sent them on their way, then I believe he started another group. In the midst of this, he got into west coast swing dance and got into competitions, and I believe did very well at that as well. He is just oozing with talent.
Chris is a great dancer. He and his dance partner have won competitions. So much talent in one family. I think Adam does beatboxing for his brother. When Chris started Home Free it wasn't a country band. When they auditioned for The Sing Off, the people in the initial auditions thought it would be good if they presented themselves as a country acapella group. They only knew 2 country songs at the time of the audition. Before that,they were more pop and r&,plus old classics. Thanks for your review!
Chris actually does the beatboxing on his solo stuff. (Chris was going to be the beatboxer for HF, but they switched because Chris is a stronger singer than Adam and wow! What an awesome beatboxer Adam is!)
There’s a video out on UA-cam of Adam Rupp’s wedding and it incorporates a lot of dancing! The whole family is into music and dancing. I would think that Chris was doing all of the vocalizing. When Home Free first started, Adam was singing and Chris was beatboxing.

Chris in my opinion is a producer and a dancer. He has a natural knack for it. I honestly have never heard this because I am sorry, but I don't gravitate towards Chris (vocally) automatically, but you still gave it a shot, and this is brilliant.

Also, check out BOTH videos for 'If the World Was Ending' - the one is his official video, the other a swing dance version...shows his dance expertise. Very good. I guess I prefer his solo songs over collabs(ok, doesnt include HF or ones w his sister - love those). Not sure why that may be though 🤷🏻🤷🏻
Chris really is that talented. Singing, playing musical instruments, dancing, beatboxing, producing, etc., everything is possible. But that runs in the Rupp family. Also listen to 7th Ave with his sister Tristin. But you can also see in Adam's wedding video that a lot revolves around music.
This was giving me vibes of the old "Soul Train" mixed with boy band vocals. Chris said in an interview that he'd gotten into dancing and really loved it (there's one competition on y/t that he's in). I'd be willing to bet that Adam does beatboxing for him. In Home Free's video "When You Walk In" Austin dances with one of the professionals from Dancing with the Stars (I've forgotten her name).

I love this. All of the voices and the beatboxing were Chris, I believe. He dances West Coast Swing competitively now. There is a video of him and his dance partner dancing to If the World Was Ending - and they did the vocals, too. There is a second video of the same song without the dancing. He has so many different styles. You might also try Senorita, which is a duet with a woman that I hadn't seen before. Or his original Should Have Been You, which he does with Kelley Jakle who was part of Seventh Ave. Soooo many different sides of him to explore. Enjoy!

This was a bit of a surprise, but I really enjoyed it. I had seen another video where he was Ballroom dancing, and he looked so proper! I’m in catch-up mode as I have no idea what happened to Friday.
