I feel that KPOP in KOREA invests much more in production than other countries' music videos around the world. The KPOP music video produces a variety of costumes, props, and various stage sets, and uses expensive cars and motorcycles to make it spectacular
They're in a lawsuit rn so thank god they even can come out with songs and for "let me down easy" and "just friends" they're not the music videos they're visualisers and look at the "8 letters" music video to see the production, it's one of their best videos
I knew Beyoncé's music video, rented the entire Louvre museum in France, dressed in a dress costing hundreds of thousands of dollars, and filmed it. But this huge production cost is RARE in American music video production. I think even if they have a lot of money, they don't seem to feel the need to invest a lot of money in the MV.

I haven’t really been enjoying the songs in this era that much tbh. They’re good but just not as good as their previous eras especially after the great album that is The Good Times & The Bad Ones. Just seems like they’re actually going backwards in terms of growing as a band and musically. Only song I truly enjoyed in this era was Love Back lmao

That’s my problem with these newer songs they’re releasing in this era, they feel like a downgrade. 8 letters was a great album and was a step up from those eps they were dropping before. The 12/12 songs were a step up from 8 letters album and they explored their sound. Then good times and the bad ones was a step up from both. But with this new era it feels like they’ve taken a bunch of steps back lmao.

I needed something new cause I felt like it got kinda boring ig?? I also do agree with you that these new songs were a down grade. They are not bad, but it isn’t something new or fresh. It kinda felt like I had heard it before..
